    So, IDK WHY but almost daily the server DCs me twice a day. I play on a private server with my friends and no one has this issue but me. I have recently formatted and upgraded my PC (AMD) and the game runs smooth - I have no issues in other games but I am the only one who always gets DCed twice a day in ARK and it's annoying.

    WITH THAT SAID - I fucking swear this server has consistently went out of it's way to grief and kill me when the Dinos and stuff don't. The server be like - ohhh you went 10 hours w/o dying - here let me DC you in the worse possible time ever.

    WITH THAT SAID ---- I've lost so many fucking tames because of this but most importantly my birds - my beautiful, powerful birds that I rely on for farming resources.

    IDK what settings to put them in anymore.

    • Passive? I Get DC'ed and he doesnt defend himself and dies.
    • Passive? I get dismounted or not mounted but farming resources and get ganked - died and few mins later, while running back up the mountain - bird dies for just sitting there.
    • Neutral?? I Get DC'ed and bird disappears
    • Neutral?? Dismounted Birds now enters aggro mode and it is nearly impossible to hop on him
    • Neutral?? Pack of assholes on me and Bird, dismounted and die - birds disappear chasing assholes and never to be seen again or dies.

    Like IDK how to keep my damn bird safe

    Can a tek rock drake shoot down a metal cliff platform? I have turrets defending my platform from rockets etc but can a tek drake just shoot from range and destroy the whole thing without counterplay?

    Anyway to make Ab Megalos not grab attack?

    Ps4 unofficial. Title says all. Anyway to make megalos not default to grab attack on aberration? Trying to plan for rockwell , will only have 2 riders. The megalos are perfect for it but that stupid default grab messes them up.

    If not, any suggestions for rockwell strategy with only 2 people? Could reapers work or spinos? Just doesnt seem like much room for them at the end of that platform.

    Seeking help finding specific mods

    So me and a friend have been playing for a few days on non-dedicated together, and there are a few thigns we'd like changed. I know there is a ton of mods out there, and I'm looking through them now, but if anyone knows of mods that fix these issues off the top of their heads, I'd much appreciate knowing about them!

    • I can see the hosts name and distance at all times, but they cannot see mine. I would LIKE the host to be able to see my name and distance as a client player. I'm aware that this is a feature only on non-dedicated, and there are no in game settings for this, but is there a mod perhaps?
    • Any mods to adjust individual wild creature aggression?
    • Any mods to improve tamed creature AI settings? (We want the creatures to be passive, and not attack our targets, or things that we are trying to knock out to tame.... but we want them to defend themselves if they are being killed and we aren't nearby)
    • Any recommendations for better/prettier building mods?
    • Any must have QoL mods?

    Please Help - Community Building question

    I would like to add a community area/building to my map that I have for everyone to use.
    I will randomally store items there, events, etc.
    But I also have my own character on the server so I dont want it to be said its built by me (Yes, it will be and thats fine that people know it but as appearance/locking/etc).

    Help? I am sure its a dumb question honestly but google isn't helping.

    Can't cancel landing while on Tapejara

    Hey!

    Tamed a Tapejara (new player) and as usual with flyers, spacebar causes them to seek out the nearest place to land. When on my Argy, I can cancel this by just flying in a different direction with the arrow keys and/or shift. But on the Tapejara, it forces flying straight down, even if I aim upwards.

    This is obviously extremely dangerous and risky, not being able to cancel the landing. Attack/left clicking/right clicking, pressing spacebar (land) again, X and C keys, nothing will cancel.

    Am I missing something?
