    I have a question about the Ark DLC. When you purchase the Ark DLC packs will the content be available on the older map such as the island so when I purchase new DLC will the dinosaurs from the new DLC pop up there?

    Been seeing mutated wyvern posts, here our mine. PS4 pvp official, all the Wyverns here are all tropical, have a lot of colors and some that look like embers, top stats rn are 12.7khp, 1105st, 376m.

    How many grenades to break a stone wall?

    As the title says, I am just starting off on a official pvp server and trying to get some early small stone base raids to speed up the metal farming process ect, I have the stuff to make a good amount of grenades and was wondering how many grenades it takes to break a stone wall and also how many to break a reinforced wooden door! Couldn't find any information on this except for a steam post when stone was "bugged" and it only took 3-4 but it took more for wood idk if this is still true tho.

    TL;DR How many grenades to break a reinforced wooden door and also how many to break a stone wall.

    What do you use trapdoors for?

    I've had this game for two years and just realized I've never used the trapdoors. The only thing I've seen them used for is as a quick access point to house flying tames - which is a cool idea! I'm just wondering if there's any other really practical use for them.

    Help with "Joining failed - Connection Timeout" issue please

    Hi, I'm the admin of a dedicated server hosted by LogicServers. I opened my server on December 28, 2019. Until Crystal Isles release, no issue at all. That means, no issue from January to June.

    Since Crystal Isles release, here is what happens : for best performance and stability, and to keep it up-to-date, each day I stop, backup and restart the server. After I restart it, 2 times out of 3 I can't join the server, neither my fellow players. We get the dreadful "Joining failed - Connection Timeout" issue, although Battlemetrics and my server control panel say that everything is ok.

    So the first strange part is that it doesn't happen every time : sometimes we can join right after the restart.

    But now the strangest part : when we get this connection timeout issue, I JUST have to stop the server again and to restart it : after this second restart, 100% of the time, yes 100% of the time we can join the server.

    What is that black magic raptorery ??

    If that matters, server is vanilla (no mods at all, not even in the past). And it runs with the -NoBattlEye setting. Windows server, not a Linux one. PC Steam version of the game.

    This issue drives me nuts because now I can't restart the server remotely or automatically at a fixed hour : even if I don't intend to play, I have to enter the game to be sure that the server will let the players join.

    How to begin a boss fight?

    Ok so I think im ready to attempt my first boss fight.

    Ive got my dinos saddled, levelled and I have all the requirements to try gamma.

    My question is do I have to uncryopod all the dinos next to the obelisk?
    Id hate to have to wait for them all to be conscious.

    How can xbox and pc play together?

    Mouse Latency

    My mouse is sluggish despite vertical sync being disabled. I tried editing the line "bEnableMouseSmoothing=" in "Steam\SteamApps\common\ARK\Engine\Config\BaseInput.ini" and there was no effect.

    I could not find any others complaining about this problem after 2018 so I assume another fix was found. What is the fix?

    Here are some suggestions for ARK

    I played 2.5k hours of ARK on PC for 4 years and here are my suggestions that may make the game more fun.

    1. Make ARK Cross-platform for PC, Xbox, PS4.
    2. Switch to Unreal Engine 5.
    3. Add more updates for the Deep sea.
    4. Change characters design.
    5. Show the weapons that player is carrying on his back.
    6. Add more depth to the storms and make the waves on the sea change.

    Comment any ideas you look forward.
