    Looking for a tribe on small tribes pvp on pc. I'm getting back into ark and none of my friends play on pc. My character is a new one so I don't have any tek grams and it is not level 100 yet. I have all dlc maps except genesis.

    Why does the Genesis simulation exist in the lore? Didn't earth get fixed after Extinction?

    I rewatched the final cut scene of Extinction and Helena says the Arks will now fix earth. At the end you see what seems to be Aberration having landed on earth as as well, which might include Rockwell. But how did we get to Genesis from there? Did the Arks fail fixing earth?

    They saw the same devastation you're seeing right now, and they sought their own way to escape. For Helena, that meant ascending and becoming Homo Deus -- an energy being beyond our reality. For her friends, it meant a long journey to a place called Arat Prime, where they figured out a way to beam Helena into the Genesis simulation. And then she made me!"

    In the book, an underground explorer finds an advanced culture of creatures called the Vril-ya.

    Maybe these things wont play a role in either Ark 2 or Genesis 2, but especially the mentioned Vril-ya, "the coming race", might be connected to the new troll kind of creatures we saw in the trailer for Ark 2.

    Genesis: Protection from Insect Swarms while offline?

    What is the best way you've found to counter these pests while offline?

    I'm used to protecting bases with walls and species x plants, and these go through walls and eat species x. They have killed offline players in our base and now we try to only play Genesis when almost everyone is able to be on, and take the server down when we are done. Are dinos on neutral our only option?

    Nitrado Can Upload but not Download again.

    Hi, recent issue just came up on my Nitrado cluster. For the server in question, friend wanted to upload Dino and download it again closer to their base to transport it. However, after they uploaded it, they cannot get it back out. To my knowledge I have not disabled Dino downloads in any way. What do you suppose I could do to fix this issue?

    No offical servers exept smalltribes? PC play anywhere

    I can't seen to find any regular official dedicated servers, only small tribes. Why is this ? I have tried joining my brother directly from Xbox game bar but i get an error saying host has not enabled crossplay.

    Are there no regular official dedicated servers for pc play anywhere version?

    I love how nice stealth can be in ark

    Playing pvp without gamma changes makes night stealth so fun to use. You can also hide in bushes, dye your armor black for extra hiding power, hide under structures like thatch or a low ceiling. I legit thought you couldn't go under your structures at first because i had that experience all the time with games.

    But man, ark is just amazing in terms of options to destroy your enemy. Hell using c4 and dodos? Biological warfare? Putting wild troodons in another guys base? This game just gets better and better. Oh sorry to those of you who like to build. Must suck farming for all that and carefully placing things only to be wrecked by a me with a sniper rifle and c4 dodos. :O

    But yeah i love the options you can have in pvp.

    Any idea what will happen to Ark 1 when Ark 2 comes out?

    Do you think Ark 1's official maps will still be around? Do you think old maps will be incorporated into Ark 2? I'm a bit bummed to realize my WIP castle is going to be outdated in the near to moderate future. :/
