Cant find unofficial pc sessions (PS4) Posted: 26 Jan 2021 10:42 AM PST I've never had this issue before. I can find officials no problem. Uninstall didn't help. Deleting save data didn't help. Question about genesis 2 needing gen1 missions completed? Posted: 26 Jan 2021 10:18 AM PST Hi all, So I've noticed several players rushing to complete gen1 missions on my genesis server because gen2 is coming soon. Is this because there's some prereqs or having gen1 missions completed will be beneficial in some way on gen2? or is this just folks trying to complete as much existing content before new content is released? or do we know yet? Hibernation/stasis in single player Posted: 25 Jan 2021 04:49 PM PST Playing single player at the moment, but single player settings is unchecked. Would the stasis/hibernation be the reason that things like artifacts/cave loot take hours to respawn? On servers, you can run the east underwater cave on the island about once every 30/40 minutes. On single player, i looted it once, and nothing has respawned in around 8 hours. I havent spent that time in the cave, or near it, so im guessing that being out of render distance, has stopped loot from respawning. overheating inside cold house Posted: 26 Jan 2021 03:46 AM PST hi! sorry for all the questions lately, but this game has a lot to learn. i've managed to build an adobe house to protect me against the worst weather on scorched earth. however, it's actually safer to be outside - as soon as i enter the house i immediately start overheating. i initially thought this might be something to do with the size, so i tried again at night. no luck, i still keep overheating. which doesn't make any sense to me - i have insulation for both heat and cold, so i shouldn't be overheating, right? plus the temperature indicator tells me it's actually cold in this house. what's going on? i would like to live in my own home without fear. edit: removed all torches. this has reduced the area in which i start burning to death, but there's still a small area in the corner of the house that will kill me, and fast. there are no sources of heat anywhere near here. it's dark outside, and when i step into any other part of the house it tells me i'm cold. https://preview.redd.it/t08tjkrrznd61.png?width=230&format=png&auto=webp&s=698ff4ad6df0a18920580ba6a2a00579f1f9f21e submitted by /u/quietrealm [link] [comments]

[help] can someone explain what i am doing wring with my Diplo tame Posted: 25 Jan 2021 02:35 PM PST Playing on Aberration for the first time and I have been using the ark.gamepedia website for some information and either I don't know how to use it or I must be reading the wrong thing but here it goes According to the website a Diplo under level 30 should only need 34 tranq arrows to knock it out. I hit a level 20 with 64 tranq arrows and it just kept on walking around and eventually once I ran out of arrows I watched it as it lost aggro and went about its normal life. I also tried the passive tame method where you give it berries, the website said it would take about 15 minutes for the same level range and about 30 second intervals of feeding it random berries. I fed it one time and it kept trying to push me away and I never got a chance to feed it more berries. The tool tip just kept saying "wait until it is hungry again" and it never took another berry I just left after 5 minutes. on my third attempt with another level 20 diplo I used my friends scorpion. it was a low enough level I thought I was in the clear. As I began stinging it (not clawing at it) I noticed that the Diplo was losing more and more health. I double checked the website and it said that the scorpions deal twice as much torpor than damage with their stinger, but I was able to kill the diplo outright with the scorpion without it getting knocked out. Is there something i am just not getting? I have tamed several other beasts and I just don't get why this one wont work out submitted by /u/ArmorGyarados [link] [comments]
