| A little moan, looking for advice. Posted: 20 Feb 2021 09:14 AM PST What's the point? Xbox Official Really. We have played for about 6 weeks now, averaging 10-15 hours a day, we've spent 2 week straight farming and getting stuff sorted to progress in the game to only be wiped by alpha tribes salty on 'their' server, twice now. This last time after two weeks and valentine's event we had over 70 velo's, stacks of turrets, yutis, 20+ other Dino's, and they all got wiped by one old man, his kid (they invited to party to brag about they own server) a giga, a Tek spaceship and a stego with 40k hp We are two people how is this even possible to survive, Where can we look for tribes, places that don't have salty alpha tribes who just wipe for the fun of it and think they're god's gift because they've played longer or paid longer - and server haven't reset or patches been applied to where bases already are (cannot build anywhere now as patched but it seems old players who previously built are ok there go figure) We killed him and took his Tek armour(that really annoyed him haha) and stego but didn't stop them wiping our entire base killing 100 tames and taking entire cryo fridge full of blood sweat and tears. So what's the point? And more importantly is anyone looking for 2 players who don't mind the grind and want to play.. We like PvP we like defending our base but it's near impossible against full Tek with cakes and chum and all the OP stuff when you're in flak with Dino's that all get one tapped. Sorry for the moan but it's hard to see weeks work go down the drain in approximately 3 minutes, with no actual defense or possible good outcome. TLDR; salty alphas flexing on us, we need to join a big tribe, or some way to survive. Ideally official xbox [link] [comments]  | ||

| Add a Saint Patrick's Day Event Posted: 19 Feb 2021 05:18 PM PST Only colorful dinos, increased breeding/hatching, and a simple mini-game. No more increased material drop rates. If server cannot run the event because to full up of players then do not run the event on those server that have extreme crashing issues during events. If a server stays up and runs an event okay without crashing, keep event going on that server. Run events for two weeks. One week is to stressful. We have real lives to live outside of ark. I need people who can actually grind the base up not ask every ten seconds what to farm. I need people who have experience. Posted: 19 Feb 2021 03:17 PM PST Hi, so basically what I'm wondering if there are updated versions of these mods or alternatives for them. I've looked around the Steam workshop but no luck. The reason I'm asking is because a buddy of mine tried installing these two on his server but we couldn't join because we kept getting a "need newer versions of these mods" error and we figured out it was these very two mods. I checked their Steam pages and apparently, the author stopped updating them. So, are there newer versions? If not, are there any alternate mods that do the same thing? [link] [comments]  | ||

It seems impossible to get red gems without first having a hazmat suit but you seem to need a hazmat suit to get near them. I'm playing locally on an Xbox so I can change settings; there just aren't any regarding radiation. Any help would be greatly appreciated! [link] [comments]  |
