| Posted: 18 Mar 2021 02:18 AM PDT So my group went in to the south central cave (just north of the swamp) as I read it was an easy one. We went in in full hide armor with shotguns, rifles, and metal pikes. The cold wrecked us and the bats easily finished us off. Where did we go wrong? We had rooms that literally had 10 bats 4 snakes 3 scorpions and a few spiders, all crammed in insanely small quarters. We tried going slow and would pull these rooms en-mass upon the first rifle shot being done. The bats were nightmarish and once we gave up the admin came to see what was going on and apparently with god mode on flew into the water and was swarmed by so many piranha he couldn't move... We are playing with x5 difficulty and otherwise vanilla stats. [link] [comments]  | ||

Have checked dozens and dozens of Redwood trees on both maps and I'm not getting any hives, just an occasional nomadic Queen Bee which can't be tamed. Posted: 18 Mar 2021 02:22 AM PDT Loaded an old save file of Ragnarok and many of my awesome mutated dinos have now totally changed colours. I had several Therizinos with gold mutations, a beautiful red Thyla and a few gold Yutys and direwolves too. They areas which were mutated are now just normal colours. My Thyla looks super plain! | Haven't played since early access (pre-scorched earth) and thinking of getting back in Posted: 17 Mar 2021 06:57 PM PDT My wife and I both used to play the game, I logged back in tonight onto an official server and asked some questions but didn't get any answers. I've looked at post history, youtube videos, etc but specifically I'm wondering exactly what state the game is in as far as bugginess (used to be terrible, corpse fall through earth, 0,0 glitch, dinos disappear, mounts kick you off, etc) and also just what the PvP servers are like in contrast to what we're used to. In the past we had no server to server teleports so basically whoever won the initial PvP would wall off (on the Island map) the north, most caves, and lots of the volcano. We actually found a server with a more lenient alpha tribe that would let people build up before destroying them but I'm really wondering, exactly, what it's like nowdays. With the server to server teleports is a gaming community mandatory if you dont want to lose everything over and over? Should I just roll this 2 player lan with my wife? We both loved the PvP but not the inaccessibility of resources with the established alpha. Does the Center/Ragnarok fix that issue? If we do play, what map do we want? Private servers with enforcement? Just wondering the current state of the game and culture. We loved the dinos, loved the atmosphere, etc. Many thanks for any responses. [link] [comments]  | ||
