    I like PvP, but each time when I join a server i get frick by a 240(tame) raptor by a tribe, I can't do nothing only try to fight back or run, it really dead for new players like me.

    So my question is, how do i find "NEW servers" like not recently wiped, but brand new so I can actually play the game properly

    And if i did not explain good I'm sorry

    Hello reddit!

    I took on the game a bit before Christmas when version with DLC came to gamepass. I've played quite a lot of unofficial PVE since then but would like to dip into the "real competitive scene".

    I'm a very long time gamer with some measure of skills and can devote at least a few hours to gaming every single day. Fun-loving but at 41 kinda serious in my gaming, I tend not to waste my game time.
    That offer come along with my best friend who loves constructing and gathering but have little combat skills.

    I'd like to either join a small/medium sized tribe who aim for the top, success or failure is irrelevant, as long as we have fun trying, or from an altogether new one with a bunch of like-minded people. The 2nd being kinda my favorite option.

    Got 2 teenagers who might join us sometimes, but they do not game THAT much.

    I personally would like to go for a difficult map like maybe aberration, but it might be wiser to settle at first on an easier spot to end up expanding to other maps when ready.

    Sorry if there was a better place for this post, I almost never used reddit before.

    Feeling a little stuck. Looking for advice

    I started playing Ark recently, for now I'm exclusively on local singleplayer, until I learn more about the game. I used tweaked settings, with "singleplayer settings" turned off, and difficulty adjusted to 0.55 (highest level dino I saw was lvl 72).

    I finished 4 caves recently with either a lvl 74 Thyla or a lvl 105 Gigantopithicus. Enough artifacts to summon Broodmother. But I'm really scared to go into there, because I see people taking like 15-20 rexes, theris or Deinos into broodmother, and I don't want to die and lose everything.

    So my question is, what do I do now? Should I start a breeding program? Is that the right move? And if yes, where should I grab dinos? Should I go to one of the expansion maps like some posts are suggesting, and bring them back to Island?

    So I just really started to get into Ark on PS4 and I watch some videos and heard about Herby Island on The Island. So I made it and there's a Leech just hanging on on the island. I guess I got lucky? Maybe I'm not. Let me know 🤣

    Adding Different Colored Dinos to Spawns

    Yes it is possible to change the colors of dinos at spawn points! You can even have multiple event colors at the same time.

    Editing the dinos colors is done when add or override a spawn container as detailed on the wiki. To add color changes add the following in the spawn entries section ColorSets="colorset". You will want to replace colorset with a DinoColorSet you would like to use. Here is a list of the colorsets that I have found.

    Using the example of adding a giga to the beach spawn that they used the updated code would look like this.

    ConfigAddNPCSpawnEntriesContainer=(NPCSpawnEntriesContainerClassString="DinoSpawnEntriesBeach_C",NPCSpawnEntries=((AnEntryName="GigaSpawner",ColorSets="DinoColorSet_AllColors_C", EntryWeight=1000.0,NPCsToSpawnStrings=("Gigant_Character_BP_C"))),NPCSpawnLimits((NPCClassString="Gigant_Character_BP_C", MaxPercentageOfDesiredNumToAllow=0.01)))

    This will be included with the spawn point editor in beacon omni in the near future.

    For those who do not have a way to use beacon or do not have beacon omni here is a copy of all spawns in it containing the entry ColorSets="DinoColorSet_AllColors_C" for the ability to find and replace to add a different colorset.

    All spawns with DinoColorSet_AllColors_C

    Some things I noticed in testing.

    - Not all dinos accept colorsets

    - Some colorsets do not have all regions therefore not all colors would change

    - Can only do 1 colorset per spawn entry. It seems like no matter how I formatted only the last one listed would work. You can however have multiple colors in the same spawn container by doing multiple spawn entries.

    - Couldn't find a way to get the "dye" colors to work. Not going to see the really wild mutation colors.

    -Events seem to spawn their own colorsets normally in addition to the ones that are changed.

    Questions on ACs for Hatcheries

    I've been doing research but I am still a bit confused.

    People have been saying ACs lose their effect at two foundations away, is this negated when you place them indoors?

    The general consensus seems to be 15 ACs can hatch just about anything... if I were to build 15 under a false floor, would I be able to just throw everything in the room and have it hatch? Or does every AC unit need to be close to the egg.

    A question on Ark Additions Acro

    Is awesome spyglass mod accurate with how many biotoxin/narcotics you need to feed the Acro? On our server with 3x tames the super spyglass says that the Acro is gonna need to eat like 1000s of biotoxins.

    Seriously, the server list keeps freezing everytime, yet everytime in the task manager the game merely use my bandwith or ram, it just freezes.

    I reckon if the game allowed me to directly connect or first to enter my filter, the issue would go away.
