Posted: 19 Jul 2021 06:29 AM PDT If you think about it, they have slowly been adding QoL things that previously were only attainable by using mods (S+ and such) but doing so in their own way with their own limitations Examples: S+ Transfer tool to refill turrets -> Ammo Box S+ Being able to pick up all structures -> Exo-Mek (I know there's an ini too, but by the default value for it is false) Spyglass mods that allow you to see to see base stats -> Egg Incubator Mods or programs (ASB) that allow you to see color regions -> Cryopod now displays them S+ Nanny to feed babies -> Maewing As you can see, those are QoL things that always required a mod or external programs (ASB) but slowly they are implementing them to the base game which is great. Resource pulling is one of the last best things we have on unnoficial that we NEED on the base game Obviously, there's gotta be limitations such as you can only pull resources using a Tek Replicator and only from nearby Dedicated Storages. But even that would make a HUGE difference, specially when you have to craft massive amounts of metal structures, you're limited by your weight and you have to rely on dropping items to the ground and picking them with a whip which not only is an annoyance but also creates more server lag due to each stack being a separate entity with collision, also creating client side fps lag due to having to draw all those bags. My closing point is that this last expansion has been the BEST by far in terms of QoL, and I hope that even if they don't add more expansions to the game, they can at least polish a few easily improvable things that would make everything so much smoother before completely moving on to Ark 2. First Boss Help and Tek Cave Posted: 19 Jul 2021 11:40 AM PDT Hello friends! First of all thanks everyone for all the advice along the way! Singlplayer Island - I've reached a point where I'm ready to do my first boss. I've got all the artifacts for the brood mother so I'm going to start there. My idea was to do the gamma bosses, then the gamma tek cave. I know to get better dinos the best thing to do is go to another map like Rag or Center. However, I wanted to go through the bosses and the tek cave at least once for the story purpose (no spoilers please). My understanding is once you do tek cave you realize something that opens up other maps story wise. (again no spoilers please) Then I would feel comfortable going to a different map. I started my first line of breeding from what I could find on the Island. Just rexes so far, haven't gotten any good Theri's yet. I do have a about 209 Yuty. (See Below) Functionally is there a faster way to get them healed up after you've matured them. Should I tame a daedon and just have it healing next to where I have them standing after they mature? It was going so slow so I did an infinitestat on and off for each just so I didn't have to wait an hour for them all to regen health, but even doing that one by one was annoyingly grindy. They definitely eat a LOT. I was running non stop meat runs with an argy just killing anything it could find to keep the feeding troughs full. Functionally, do you just cryopod them all up. Fly to the obelisk, then toss them all out and go in? Can the Rex's handle Gamma Dragon and Gamma Tek Cave? I feel pretty good about broodm and Megap. Also where on the island can I farm Tech Saddles? ​ I managed to get some basic Rex breeding going. At base they come out at 243 w 9020H 1600Stam and about 555 M. That's before imprinting. So I got a M/F combo and started pumping out babies, any time I got a female I added her to the breeding to speed it up. So now I've got 20 of them fully imprinted. Can’t seem to find high level Dino’s on max difficulty Posted: 19 Jul 2021 09:56 AM PDT To start off, I rent a server for me and my friends. I'm the server config I have the difficulty set to 1, which should be max. However I can't seem to find any high level dinos. The majority of the dinos I find are levels 10-50. The highest one I've seen since I started the server is a 108. I keep killing all the low levels in the hopes that higher levels would spawn but this doesn't seem to be working. Help, game looks better in single player Posted: 18 Jul 2021 08:58 PM PDT As the title says, I have noticed that the game looks much more defined and with better lighting effects in Single Player, when I play on my friend's server made in Ark Server Manager, the game has less effects with more '' Simple textures '', and it goes much better, in Single Player I lose fps In the swamp and the forest where thylas appear my fps are also lower (I also notice more movements in trees, etc), while in my friend's server it does not, it feels completely different, in Singleplayer the Light of the supplys, etc, is more '' transparent ' ', on my friend's server it feels more' 'Solid' ', I also see light reflections on the skin of the dinos in Singleplayer, and other things, there is a way to make it look like on my friend's server ? submitted by /u/SheruSenpai [link] [comments]

Battle Eye Error Messages on PVE Steam Cluster Posted: 18 Jul 2021 09:09 PM PDT Recently, our PVE Steam server has been giving use issues with errors popping up every time someone tries to join the server after opening the game. It will begin to load, get to the 17th or 18th mod (out of 19) then pops up with "You have been kicked by Battle Eye. Reason: client not responding". We then have to wait until a second error message pops up to exit then relog. Is this something with Ark itself, or could it be the mods? Does anyone have any resolution for this? Which map have the most variety of creatures in ARK 2021? Posted: 18 Jul 2021 02:31 PM PDT So I found a post about it in 2017 which is Ragnarok and Aberration haven't release then. So which Maps have the most varieties of creatures in ARK 2021? Just started Scorched Earth and realize there is Pheonix in it but not in other maps.
