I recently installed the StructurePlus mod (S+), but now im super confused... there are no S+ structures in my crafting list, and even after editing the ini files it wont let me place structures without foundations... specifically Im single player and was trying to take over the abandoned buildings in the desert biome of Ragnarok, but it wont let me place my forge or work bench on the ground... You spend a few weeks ( Months if your lucky ) grinding and building up your resources. Lets say you know tricks to hide your stuff, purlovera or boxes underwater ect. Now imagine it being discovered, and you loose all that work because someone has graphics at potato grade levels, and a tek helmet or whatever the heck they use to detect other things around them. Next, you just don't stand a chance against the people who have years of breeding on you. No matter what server, someone seems to find your stuff right? Maybe your lucky and make it after a few years of careful breeding and logging in. Sounds like a shit ton of work for a video game huh? So there goes all the casuals who want to have fun. Now your left with the expert ark people. How do you fight them when they have huge numbers? When they wont let anyone else in anymore? How can you yourself make an army out of people you cant trust? You can get insided so hard unless you have friends you know, AND EVEN THEN THEY MIGHT INSIDE YOU! So i ask, how are players still trying? Its like you enjoy the pain. You relish the futility of trying. This is not a game to you, but your profession. Your life. The years you might waste to get a taste of that sweet alpha power. Is it worth it? ALSO just want to add something. I don't speak for them, but if seems like alphas are motivated and forced to stay playing this game, just to maintain the work they did. You dont want to loose years of work right? Constant work and breeding ect? They HAVE to keep playing and thats how it traps you. Now think about it, do you want to be trapped trying to maintain your top stature in a very pvp broken videogame? Do you realize the cost? What are officials doing to you? _________________ BTW i am not dissing singleplayer, that shits fun af. Im talking about official servers. A whole different animal. [link] [comments]  | ||
