| Posted: 23 Jan 2022 05:59 PM PST Hi, I've read about how people use a tuso to grapple a mosa, and after about an hour the torpor is enough to knock it out. I just bred some tusos so I decided to try it out. Well I found a mosa and grabbed it. And it was able to attack me the whole time. So clearly, I'm not just going to be able to sit here for an hour and slowly KO, a mosa continuously hitting me will kill me way faster than that. What am I missing here? | Posted: 23 Jan 2022 05:24 AM PST If you try to breed dinos for higher levels, is the highest level you can achieve limited by the ancestor with the highest level in the wild? My Baryonyx breeding program is stuck at level 22. It seems like it can't go any higher. It's like the majority of wild dinos are under level 10 and the best are usually around 30, more or less. And on one occasion I killed something that was level 80. Never seen anything higher than that. I keep looking for higher level wild Baryonyx, but there's very few I can find in the swamp and none of them are very high so far. The highest one I found was 20-something. I can upload it but when I go to a different map my character just disappears. My settings are vanilla besides xp boosters and taming speed going faster. Anyone know something that can help? | Haven't played in a while, have a few questions Posted: 23 Jan 2022 09:49 AM PST So I have about 250 hours into ARK from a few years back (just checked, last played Dec 2016, wow...), and want to jump into it again with some friends on a private server. Looking at screenshots and stuff, I see there's now like, cyborg dinosaurs with neon colors and a whole bunch of futuristic tech... which I'm not really interested in at all. That being said, if I choose to NOT pick up the 2 expansion packs I don't own (I own base game ARK, and Scorched Earth), is there still new stuff for me to discover? Like, has stuff been added to the base game or Scorched Earth since I last played? Or do I need to buy the other expansions to get any newer stuff? Also, which of the free/included maps would people recommend for a bunch of returning players that probably don't remember much of the game? [link] [comments] | ||

When I teleport to boss arena, instead it teleports me and all my tames to somewhere under the map underwater and we all die. What is going on???
