Posted: 05 Feb 2022 04:21 PM PST I have nearly 2,500 hours of play time, most of it on PVE but quite a few hours solo PVP on small tribes official servers playing on both Aberration and Valguero. I've had dozens of bases, but have never lasted more than 2 weeks or so. I know the best strategy is to find a rathole and build a tiny base (I usually make 2x1x2 bases that have everything I need). But people know about all the ratholes and they are checked frequently so you are actually better off in a semi-hidden area under a ledge or behind a tree. Still not good, though. All of the guides you see on youtube are out of date or useless by the time you watch them. My underwater vault was found in just a couple of days. My rock elemental (for storage) in rock form deep underwater in an area no one ever goes was found even quicker. Space dolphins with sonar found it no problem. Is solo small tribes even possible anymore? Heck, is it even possible for a new tribe of multiple to start out and survive long to ever make it long enough to kill a boss? It seems like with every new official map the established tribes just get stronger with the new tech. With extinction it was manas. I'd get destroyed by them in Aberration as I ran around on my mega or ravager. With Genesis 2, now you have space dolphins, etc. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 05 Feb 2022 11:18 PM PST So I've already tried logging off and logging back on the server, but for some reason I have infinite ammo on my crossbow, to where firing a tranq arrow does not take it out of inventory. I've tried toggling infinite ammo twice, as well as infinite stats. What other commands could be causing this? Edit: Restarting the server solved the issue. [link] [comments] |

I was on the other side of my base when I got a notice that several things were being killed by my own tames. The world is PvPvE with friendly fire off. Do I need to be concerned about an uprising? Cause you know why u need one and you can't stand for other dinos to kill it when you find a good one. You feel like you have to protect it at all costs and you try to help it by killing most of the other dinos nearby, cuz they're always fighting something and they get killed kind of easily, especially when they're fighting a whole group of enemies. | Questions about mutation breeding Posted: 05 Feb 2022 06:03 AM PST I think I pretty much understand most of the procedure for stacking mutations, but I'm kinda lost on one part that's probably much simpler than I'm making it out to be. I've gotten a male dino with 0 mutations on the mothers side and 20+ on the fathers side. Do I need to breed that one with a 0/0 mutations female? Assuming that's correct then I should look for a mutated male with 1/20+ mutations right? And lastly when I get that mutated male do I only breed it and future males with the 0/0 female for the rest of the breeding process or should I be swapping females somewhere? Every time I try to use any other female I end up with a ton of mutations on both sides so I'm just confused and wanna make sure I'm doing this right. [link] [comments] |
