| ItemStackSizeMultiplier Testing Posted: 25 Jan 2019 08:32 AM PST So decided to turn on the ItemStackSizeMultiplier for testing it out. Set it to a simple ItemStackSizeMultiplier=2.0 under the GameUserSettings. It doubles the stack of EVERYTHING So what that means if you have a Giant Bee honey? Previously single stacks now become a stack of 2 Honey. However it's not just resources. It's everything. Equipment. Items. You name it, it can stack to 2.0. So for example I had a Cryopod Anky and I put another Cryopod into my inventory and now I had a 2 stack of an Anky Cryopod. If I threw the Cryopod it emptied, but after I re-cryo'd it and then I split the stack it let me dupe the Anky. But that's not all, since equipment was stacking to 2.0 that let you stack items that had different quality. So I could take my Ascended Ravager saddle and put a primitive in the inventory and now I had a 2 stack of Ascended Ravager saddles that I could split and distribute. The same goes in reverse where putting the Ascended saddle into an inventory with Primative saddle becomes a stack of 2 Primitive Saddles. So if you want to increase the stacks, be prepared to specify specific items with the "ConfigOverrideItemMaxQuantity" for specific items instead. [link] [comments]  | ||

After Atlas released, the community was very much hesitant in trusting the "now that the 3 main dlcs are out, we'll fix the game" narrative, but Wildcard delivered (let that sink in ^^) . So, props to everyone involved, but let's not forget this only scratches the surface of Ark's issues, but it's certainly a great start, and here's hoping for a great year to make Ark live to its fullest potential. | Regarding mating changes last patch Posted: 25 Jan 2019 02:56 AM PST Dear wildcard Everyone being an actual breeder will probably kiss your feet for the mating option you got us last patch. So first of all thanks for that. This makes mutation breeding with a lot of females much less annoying having not to constantly u whistle (the sound of my nightmares). On that note please consider shortening the time it takes for dinos to mate. Aside from the U-whistling this is probably the biggest annoyance when mutation breeding. Even if you breed as many as possible at a time you still spend a very extended amount of time just standing there and waiting for the bars to go up. Please change that to maybe like 20 or 10 seconds. This should still provide enough time to doublecheck your breeders and abort if need be while at the same time significantly reduce the time spent on mating. [link] [comments]  | ||

| I'm stuck in a loop after a raptor pounced on me. Posted: 25 Jan 2019 05:32 AM PST I was just minding my own business flying to, and collecting, a cache when I was attacked by a couple of raptors. One of them jumped onto me and the screen turned mostly black and blurry. Now it's stuck in that animation and my health is slowly wittling down while I'm unable to do anything. I can't even open my inventory. Is there anything to do to get out of this without dying? Don't want to leave my pteranodon behind. Console commands are an acceptable solution if there are any that can fit... Edit: I used cheat infinitestats to get out of the loop! And it wasn't raptors it was a couple of troodons. It seems to happen to a lot of people, getting fatal error when using the managarm breath. | [PSA/Bug] Sunken Forest in extinction has a massive hole since recent patch Posted: 24 Jan 2019 09:23 PM PST Title. I just went down there looking for gachas and wasn't finding anything... Until I flew through the ground without even trying on accident at 10 Lat 20 Long. It is a MASSIVE hole and I can see tons of dinos falling through it and stuck down it. Here are some screenshots. Edit: The whole ground in that entire area is f*cked up. I touched the ground with my character only to be forced under it and it's like I'm swimming. I thought I was screwed because it wouldn't let me out at all even when using cheats like ghost and fly it still forced me to swim like there was a ceiling above my head. I finally tricked it to make me "jump out" and was able to fly straight up from there. Edit #2: The entire floor of this area will force me underground and the only way to get out is to find something like a rock and hope my character jumps on top of it then using ghost to get away. This is pretty inconvenient as many people breed tens of females at once, and it's much easier to just turn the male on + off as opposed to every female.
