    Near Disastrous First Foray Unto Aberration's Surface

    Howdy all! So as the title says, I tried to go to the surface for the first time last night and it almost turned into a colossal disaster. I knew that the surface had deadly foes up there, so I didn't want to go without my best dinosaur - a level 282 Megalosaurus gifted to me by another player. It has over 8,000 health and 600% melee damage so, in my mind, I thought I was ready for the dangers up ahead. I didn't think twice when I saw a level 80 Surface Reaper King begin to emerge and I charged at it!

    When the second one came to join in, that is when I knew I had fucked up..

    Hell I barely was able to escape from the first one. It tore through my Megalo like it was paper. I had to cheese it with less than half health to my name. And when the damn thing chased me through the tunnel back to the Green Zone? I was panicked as fuck! Luckily it burrowed once I got out of the tunnel and back into the Green Zone properly.

    So I'm wondering.. what did I do wrong..? Was the Megalo the wrong choice to take to the surface? Or maybe it was just the bad luck of fighting two on one? I want to start exploring up there but it feels like unless I have a Rock Drake to zip around all over, I'm never going to be able to actually reach the surface. :/

    Hi so I just started my single player game on ragnarok and I live in Viking bay 2 could someone tell me where I can find some crystal preferably near my base (if their is any) I only need a bit to make early game items such as the spyglass

    I want to have my Xbox host a server, me play on it with my pc, and my friend with a OG Xbox (and maybe some other people) play. Do I need to buy the steam or windows 10 version of ark?

    My friend and I have been playing The Island and really enjoying ourselves. We don't play very much though so haven't gotten very far, we just made fabricated pistols, but want a new challenge with a new map. Which of the other maps do you like the best? Thank you.

    What drop pods are best for better weapons?

    As the title says, I've been looking to get at least an apprentice long neck for taming with darts, but I keep opening drop pods full of water bottles and metal door frames.

    Are certain boxes more likely to drop weapons?

    Settings for private server

    Long story short. Friends and I have busy lives. We have a server with a little bump but we're wondering if there is a setting to control what baby Dino's ask for when they need care.

    Essentially, is it possible for my baby Dino's to always want cuddles?

    I keep getting stuck when they ask for extraordinary kibble.

    I've spent the last 45 minutes searching and only found setting for mature rate and things like that.

    Private server?

    I have made a world recently that I plan to use with my friends. Question is, how would I invite them and get them in the same game, and would I have to rent one or is it free to play privately? Also, would they join my current world with everything still in it or world I have to make a new one?
