| Please add Titanboa eggs back to Extraordinary Kibble. Posted: 07 Mar 2019 04:58 AM PST I'm not sure why Titanboa eggs were downgraded from Extraordinary kibble. Not only are Titanboa eggs reasonably tough to get in the first place, but by downgrading them you've heavily screwed over The Island/Center/Extinction players. Their only choice to get eggs to make Extraordinary kibble at the moment is golden Hesperonis eggs. Not only are Hesperonis nearly impossible—if at all possible— to tame on Extinction, but their eggs are very difficult to obtain on any map, especially in large quantities. Players on Ragnarok, Aberration, and Scorched Earth will have a much easier time making Extraordinary kibble. It is a lot easier to get your hands on Rock Drake eggs and Wyvern eggs than it is taming a Hesperonis and farming its eggs. If any developers see this, I ask you to please reconsider this unnecessary change. Give us back Titanboa eggs for Extraordinary kibble, so that we have a far more viable and passive option for making the kibble. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Please Allow Windows 10 Users to Activate Holiday Events Posted: 07 Mar 2019 09:21 AM PST Right now Steam users can activate holiday events through the command line (which is inaccessible to console/Windows 10 users). Nitrado-hosted servers can also apparently turn holiday events on and off. Can you please allow events to be turned on and off through the .ini files so that Windows 10 users can also enjoy them? | BUG- Pin Lock Your Dedicated Storage! Posted: 07 Mar 2019 05:18 AM PST Right now, ANYONE can deposit / take from your dedicated storage boxes regardless of whether or not they are in your Tribe. This is even if your storage boxes are locked. The one functional workaround is pinlocking the boxes. If they are pin locked, they properly demand credentials before allowing access. Please please if you have placed any of these boxes, log on as soon as you can and pin lock them until this is fixed! [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 07 Mar 2019 11:31 AM PST Seeing as OS is moving on and has made the code open source, anyone know of any modders who are or are planning on carrying on the building legacy? The game needs a building mod to really function properly on Unofficial at least. S+ is a good framework for it. As per his open source agreement nothing could be named "S+" but I don't think that stops someone or a group of modders from carrying on the legacy. [link] [comments]  | ||

The developers said that extinction was the last DLC for ark and the last big update(To the base game) to ark was months ago. People then said that there was a strong possibility that ark 2 was in development. But then atlas released. So was atlas the rumored ark 2 or can we still expect something else? | Posted: 06 Mar 2019 01:36 PM PST With the new homestead update, the dinos now can ask for all new kinds of kibble besides prime meats and jerky: My suggestion is that when you're imprinting, a dino can't need a better kind of kibble that the one it preferres for taming. For example: for the taming an Argentavis you need superior kibble (according to the wiki), so when you breed one and imprint it, it can only ask for the meats listed or basic, simple, regular or superior kibble, but NOT exceptional or extraordinary kibble. That I believe is the only way to make it cost effective; because if you want to imprint let's say lots of pteras or low tier dinos there's the risk that they ask for extraordinary kibble, and it's so hard to make that it'd be a waste of imprinting hours and not really profitable. | S+ crafting costs unable to override Posted: 07 Mar 2019 11:15 AM PST Unable to change crafting costs on any items from the s+ mod that were added into the base game. To override them you need to use the ItemClassString which is unfortunately the same on the added items as the mod so it defaults to them. This also affects adding them to supply crates too and likely other overrides. Items like the dedicated storage have different functions in the mod as compared to the one in the base game. | horrific load lockups on big bases since patch Posted: 07 Mar 2019 11:12 AM PST is anyone else seeing this on larger bases, especially with large pillar supports? im on ps4 previously some of the larger bases around me would take you know like 15-20 seconds to finish the load lagging (the really bad framerate, and dropped frames while it loads) it would chug for a bit and the performance was terrible but it was still playable, you could navigate through the terrible framerate and rarely lost connection and after like 15-30 seconds depending on the base it was fully loaded and it was ok, larger base load times scaled as you would expect but now since the latest patch, old huge bases which previously did load now are completely cancer.. (only SOME bases, all larger, most seem to have pillar supported structures), my compact base loads fine, no difference, many have no difference, but really big ones.. terrible difference it freezes up SOLID, completely unplayable, just 1 frozen frame for 10-15 seconds at a time, for about a minute, a minute and a half.. and then you lose connection even loading the first of corner of some of these bases. i don't even see much else loading in, it just freezes for 15-20 seconds.. runs for a couple seconds, freezes for 15-20 seconds.. over and over 4-5 times in a row before i get dropped i know at least half a dozen areas per map i can't even goto anymore without being dropped, have to avoid them one of my friend's HAS a megabase and he can't play at all anymore, just walking around his own base freezes him for minutes at a time and drops him constantly, takes him many tries to log in just to try and see his base this all started since tuesdays patch [link] [comments]  | ||
