    Game is currently on sale on steam, it's a game I've been interested in for ages, but couldn't justify spending the full price tag; I am almost certain I will enjoy it and don't mind grind (1.6k hours in rust) however I've heard servers are dieing and it may not be worth it (PC) is this true and would it be worth me buying the dlc on sale at the same time? Thanks.

    Im brand new to ark so my dumb ass decides to have my parasaur hold ALL my important items and ride the raft with us. 5 minutes into the raft ride, surrounded by sharks and shit, HE DECIDES TO FALL OFF. So I’m praying he’s gonna swim the rest of the way without dying, and at the end this happens.

    Tek cave /overseer Advice?

    Offical ps4 tribe needing to do tek cave. We have a island server where we can do bosses and we are to kill hard dragon, monkey and then tek cave on hard.

    What do we bring for tek cave?

    Do we get our tames back after doing tek cave and then killing overseer? Do we have to cryo or can we cryo?

    What strategy we use for overseer? Rex munch? Assulat rifles and rex munch?

    Do we only bring 20 rexes and a yuty?

    Do we get a giga for the tek cave only and then use rexes for overseer?

    Our rexes are good 1000 mele 40k health roughly.

    Gigas are great aswell from 390 to 410 hatches.

    Anyone who has done tek cave recently we ask you for your advice and tips. A lotta questions sorry but its kinda my only dark area in ark.

    Homestead building blocks are useless in PVP

    Why does a large tek wall habe less hp than the equivalent in normal walls? it should have 40k hp, otherwise its useless. Same with triangle foundations. They have 7.5k vs 15k for normal foundations, meaning they are the weak spot everyone would attack.

    EDIT: To make it a bit clearer.

    Normal Tek Foundation has 15 000 HP
    Normal Tek Wall has 10 000 HP
    Triangle Tek Foundation has: 7 500 HP
    Large Tek Wall has 18 000 HP

    Information we had before this patch came live, suggested that large walls would have 4x the HP of a normal wall, which makes sense since they are 4x the size.

    It does make sense on paper that triangle Tek foundations has 1/2 the HP of a full foundation, but it does make it the easiest way to get in, as it has the lowest overall HP, making it a very big weakspot. And since all you need to do is to blow the foundation, then you can walk under the wall and be in the base, its not the best idea for a base on PVP.

    I'm currently looking for tribemates to start up from scratch on small tribes. Been a solo player for to long and want to start a small tribe .I'm an adult so looking for people around my age. i guess 18 yrs old and up be fine. ALSO that be on and not just join and never get back on. Just trying to have fun and see how long we can last .Let me know if you like to join me.
