ARK on Xbox One Game no longer exists error

My friend is hosting a sever on a secondary Xbox, and in the past we never had issues. Now we can join when the server is first started, but if you leave or get disconnected, the option to join the host gamertag is unavailable, and joining a player still in gives a "Game No longer exists" error. Any idea what's causing this or how to fix/get around it other than restarting the server?
