Diplodocus are one of the most annoying creatures sometimes Posted: 16 Apr 2019 09:07 AM PDT Its not that theyre hard to kill, its that if youre on foot they constantly push you when youre trying to do something and with their decent health pool, it takes a bit to kill them so you can do what you want in peace. I have made it my mission to kill or tame any I see. Mostly kill. [link] [comments]
Huge thank you for updating Offline Raid Protection mechanics! Posted: 15 Apr 2019 11:25 PM PDT Allowing us to place C4 around structures makes a huge difference. No longer can people Spam water pipes around their base on an alternate account to stop C4 being placed, among other things. However ORP Still needs a huge re-work. Most importantly you need to remove Pin codes, they have no use in ORP Servers, alliances are disabled, you can't pin code vaults or turrets. Pin codes are only used to abuse alt account exploits. Please remove! This video was recently posted by someone to explain this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIQPN-cbpcE Here is a list by another post that needs adjusting on ORP servers

The Center Underwater Domes are fundamentally broken? Posted: 16 Apr 2019 07:00 AM PDT You literally can't teleport any dino to the underwater domes, nor can you uncryo dinos. You just get greeted with "Can't Fit" error message if you try to throw a cryopod out or if you teleport a dino they will be teleported to the surface of the water right above where the teleporter would be. Tamed flyers don't work in either domes too. This renders them completely useless as a base spot since you can only get dinos in and out of the area via transmitter or swimming lol, which is a shame. A fix would be nice seeing as Rag features a breathable underwater cave that works just fine. [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Apr 2019 07:18 AM PDT Howdy all, For some time now I've always had in my head when I knock out a 150 Rex that I want it's health to fall within a certain threshold, and then of course I hope for good post tame stats. I was wondering if there's a listing somewhere out there of realistic expectations for pre, or more importantly, post tame stats that are worthy of starting a bloodline. Of course you can run all those numbers through a stat calculator at any time and check how many points were spent, but I was just wondering. [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Apr 2019 05:44 AM PDT Hello all, noob question as I never do breeding So I've got 10 Rex's, and all over them have over 20/20 mutations on both sides. From what I can understand, I can no longer get mutations from these Rex's. How do I go about get more mutation but also keep all the same stats I have, do I need to go tame a new rex and hope the baby gets all the good parents stats? [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Apr 2019 07:04 AM PDT Just a reminder to the devs we still have the occasional bug where dinos change gender. Maybe most of the time this isn't a huge issue, but imagine you had spent weeks hatching over 200 rex eggs looking for a male with a HP mutation on top of the 3 HP mutations the father already had on the pat side. Imagine the relief when you eventually succeed and you have ur glorious male with 4x HP mutations and log off planning to start using him to collect eggs from ur clean stat females the next day. Then imagine the complete horror as you log in the next day and it's now FEMALE. I know this was a male, i even have my Ark smart breeding records to show it was a male. I'm trying for a clean mut line, I know I could mate that female until I get a carbon copy male but the mut count will then be borked, I'm putting the effort in to avoid that this bloodline. Or I was, suddenly lost interest in the whole project, time for some more time off from Ark I think. Meh. [link] [comments]
Just bought the game, Do I need Season pass to play Mod maps Posted: 16 Apr 2019 05:00 AM PDT Completely new to the game, but really excited about modded maps. No intentions to play on servers, exclusively singleplayer, I'm more in it for the sights and exploration. Will I need to grab the season pass if I want to play those amazing modded maps? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Apr 2019 11:10 AM PDT Between the flyer nerfs of yesteryear and mana bashing as of late I'm just curious... Why doesn't Wildcard simply have two settings of the game for their servers. One for PvE where flyers can level speed and you can hunt Wyverns/flyers/fish with Mana and one for balancing PVP? Why would you enforce pvp balancing changes to PvE? [link] [comments]
Is there a chance for colored dinos if I breed them during the event? Posted: 16 Apr 2019 05:29 AM PDT I couldn't find any info on this. I think for the Valentines event it was stated, so I'm guessing not...BUT If so, do they have to be bred before the event starts, or can I use eggs I made previously? Thanks! [link] [comments]
It's been two weeks, we need info on classic Posted: 16 Apr 2019 08:52 AM PDT Stop keeping us in the dark on when clusters will open and what engrams are being added. [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Apr 2019 07:21 AM PDT as the title says. most annoying thing in the game atm. [link] [comments]
Mutation in health is gone after checking ancestry tree Posted: 16 Apr 2019 03:23 AM PDT So we hatched some babies, got an better health stat on the baby. But after we checked the ancestry tree the mutation disappeared, is this just a visual bug or a known issue ? [link] [comments]
Community Crunch 177: Eggcellent Adventure Returns Tomorrow! Posted: 15 Apr 2019 04:33 PM PDT
Posted: 15 Apr 2019 09:24 PM PDT Okay so.. I used to be able to run ark fairly well with no issues. Here recently, it's been major lag all over the place. Losing connection, lagging in the most awful moments. I have launch options on, I'm using fps fixes and from what I have heard, my computer should be able to run medium at least. Any help would be appreciated. I'm about to pull my hair out. My internet is like 400Mbps. So I dont think that is the issue. I've reinstalled ark, mods, now trying maps. [link] [comments]
Easter Event: Blue or Cyan Colors? Posted: 16 Apr 2019 01:05 AM PDT The community crunch says the Easter Event will bring Blue Dino's, but last year's event was Cyan, and all the images in the community crunch show Cyan. Am I safe to assume WC intended to say Cyan? I know it seems like I'm being picky with the names of colors, but during the pre-extinction color events they had two different events, one with cyan (listed in the announcement as cyan) and one with blue (listed in the announcement as blue) that were mutually exclusive. TL;DR: Hoping this event is actually Cyan and not Blue [link] [comments]

How high is the chance to find a creature with 40+ points in one stat? Posted: 15 Apr 2019 02:36 PM PDT Basically, whats the math behind finding a creature with 40 points into melee? I'm asking because I killed so many Thylas and didn't find any close to 40 points in one stat. Right now my unimprinted babys are at 6k health, 700 weight and 354 melee. There obviously is room to improve. EDIT: I am referring to pre-tamed stats. The comments already say that pretty much impossible though. [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Apr 2019 10:56 PM PDT Gigas are a load of fun for the riders, i'm sure. But for tribes that just aren't into them, this single dino seriously kills a lot of the fun in pvp. It's fine to be a tribe that doesn't have the best racers, rexes, megalos, theris, etc. Because with other dinos you can take your crappy version of it and fight theirs to bloody it up. On top of that they usually have reliable counters such as plant z/y. But gigas have no reliable counters like that. The closest thing a giga has to a counter are battery turrets and flyers. Which in turn they can counter by not being brain-dead or carrying grapples. You can't even really exploit the rage given how much it's been buffed now. It just compounds the problem because it forces you into getting 100% imprints as well or you just get fucking slaughtered. [link] [comments] |
