    Water Dino TLC Ideas

    Hello all!

    I am just curious as to what my fellow survivors had for ideas to improve our current water creatures? I thoroughly enjoy being in the water, it still feels like the only place that provides any sort of real danger (until you get a squidyboi). Any and all ideas are welcome and I will share a few of my own!

    Icthy: The only thing I would like to see added to these guys is a trike like danger detection aura. Maybe make the range a little larger than the trikes, but other than that, these guys serve there purpose as speedy and beginner water dinos well.

    Megalodon: I would like for the megalodon to have an attacking hitbox rework. As it stands now, you're lucky to ever hit anything with them. I would also like to see them get a sarco like swiveling ability in order to maintain uptime on targets. Maybe a movespeed increase, and a snow owl like detection mode.

    Basilo: Possibly a gradual speed boost over time like the bear, their movements look like they should produce much more speed when sprinting. Other than that, possibly make them harvest fish prime at a higher rate than others. Not too sure about these.

    Liopleurodon: These guys are a joke in my opinion. Not worth taming at all. What I would like to see happen is their loot crate buffing ability put on a cooldown 6-12 hours with a 10-20 minute active time. This would make them a permanent tame and much more usable. Could also add in stats to increase with levels that: Reduce Cooldown of Abilities or Increase duration of the buff.

    Dunky: He serves his oil gathering roll pretty well, but he is painfully slow. A small increase to move speed. I would also like to see him have a charging bite attack which deals increasingly more damage. Not many ideas for him, so lets hear it from you guys.

    Plesi: New model would be nice. They look a little derpy in my opinion, but others may think different. Ability wise, possibly a trike like rush forward or something of that nature. Drawing a blank on these guys as well.

    Mosa: Possibly a higher quality model update. These guys don't look near as bad as the Plesi in my opinion. Ability wise, possibly a reduced weight for materials, and maybe a new attack. A grab and thrash ability, that slows the targets move speed perhaps.

    Tuso: I think these guys are in a really good spot, but I would like to see the ability to grab and drain wild dinosaurs come to PvE. No throwing, and no moving while you have a wild dino in your grasp. Other than that, I think these guys are fine as is.

    This is all I've got fresh in my mind now, but would love to hear from you guys as well!

    What's up with all the foundation wiping? (PC, PVE+PVP)

    I've been trying to find servers on official since hosting my own isn't affordable, and I've noticed a really shitty and irritating trend.

    Why the hell won't end-game players leave you alone? No matter if it's PVP or PVE, some over-geared max leveled tribe with lvl 250+ dinos swoops in and foundation wipes you, or leads wild shit into your builds to do the same, then runs away laughing. It doesn't seem to matter what you have or even if you've never said anything or ever approached them.

    You get a week, maybe two at most before whoever the biggest overgeared losers on the server are come and 1-shot all of your tames with rocket launchers, then shred your shit and leave it there to despawn. They don't even take anything most of the time.

    It doesn't matter if you're sitting in a thatched hut with a dodo and cloth gear, some jackass is coming on a lvl 250 fire wyvern to break everything you have, then tell you to kill yourself irl.

    Are these people autistic?? Why the fuck is this so prevalent???

    Center is not safe

    The center is not safe in the slightest bit.. Its way to easy to mesh. This is on Xbox I'm talking We summited a tickets about the two guys doing it they did nothing.. They mesh sniped our whole base.... Nothing is safe from meshing... Wildcard why.....

    Xbox One - Dedicated Server Issues

    Hi folks,

    I am positive I am not the first person to say this, but our Rag Ark server is about as stable as my ex-girlfriend.

    Any tips on improving stability? Running on Xbox One. Constant kicking from server, oftentimes people are unable to join.

    Hey everyone

    Since a few months or so ago i was looking for a good server to play on with a couple of my friends and after spending a few seasons on other servers i felt it was time to fix all the issues with the others I watched one server ask people what they would like as the rates of the server everyone wanted 75x but admin over ruled and put it 25x making peoples opinion worthless

    I aim to change that and so much more!

    I watched another server go down because the owner didnt have donations in for the server in time

    THEREFORE

    I have setup an ark server recently and would love new players to come and join for some FUN!. There is fun community events on the server

    There is no limitations on tames etc so feel free to tame as many gigas and quetzals as you wish !! however there is a tribe limit of 350 total dinos per tribe but thats where cryopods are handy!

    You get a free stater kit and base kit with a few turrets so you can join the pvp fights right away!

    You get FREE Normal and VIP and BLUEPRINT Lootboxes (lootboxes are a chance at random items and dinos that you get by opening ingame)

    The people on the server are good group so far and we would love you to join our community!

    My goal is to offer everyone the chance to have some fun - we want ALL players to have the same opportunities as others, We want everyone who plays on the server to enjoy ark (again)

    To prevent mesh monkeys we removed the climbing pick and the chair from the game but we can not fix the map holes thats on WC! :)
