| My Complete "ConfigOverrideItemMaxQuantity" List Posted: 02 May 2019 04:28 AM PDT Not sure where else to share this, but anyways... When item stack overrides were initially released, I actually took the time to look up every single item resource (at the time) and increase the stack sizes to my liking (about x1000 to each). I could of used "ItemStackSizeMultiplier" but it increases the size of armor/tools/weapons as well, which overrides them and ruins quality unfortunately. (Imagine your Ascendant pick-axe turning into 2 or more Primitive ones because of a misclick). (If you want to adjust the stacks for your own server, just find the item you want and manually adjust the number after "MaxItemQuantity=".) *NOTE: Structures were not included in this as I found the stack sizes acceptable for them. To override: 1.) Go to your game.ini 2.) go to the section titled "[/script/shootergame.shootergamemode]" (if you don't have one, make one!) 3.) Paste this there, save it and you're set! (If ARK is already running, close it and reset for it to take effect) I hope this helps! | Having a good cluster admin is key! Posted: 02 May 2019 07:30 AM PDT So the cluster i'm on xbox/pc is having a wipe event, the requirement is to have a yellow flag on your base or admins will take it all down to clean things up. Log on yesterday to find all four of our island bases completely gone... WTF!!!! 2 bases have dino's scattered around where they once stood, the other two are just gone, like "the nothing" took them. We put up multiple flags the day they asked us too... so one of my 4 tribemates and i are assessing the damages freaking the hell out over the months spent building up the bases armies. Luckily the head honcho is on facebook and he is pretty active. I sent him some messages and after a while and many confirmations that we did indeed do what was required, homie rolls back the server, checks out one base to confirm i'm not lying scum and all is well in the world again. The only things i lost were the armor weapons and animals on my person when he reset the server and i couldn't get back to a bed. RIP Ted Jr... you were the toughest argy i ever had. Seriously though, if we didn't have a cool admin that takes care of his minions 4 people would have quit ark for good. TLDR; Wipe event went wrong and an admin wiped four bases off the server for no known reason, but the head honcho admin was a square dude and fixed it for us. 5 people did not quit ark forever. I watched another server go down because the owner didnt have donations in for the server in time THEREFORE I have setup an ark server recently and would love new players to come and join for some FUN!. There is fun community events on the server There is no limitations on tames etc so feel free to tame as many gigas and quetzals as you wish !! however there is a tribe limit of 350 total dinos per tribe but thats where cryopods are handy! You get a free stater kit and base kit with a few turrets so you can join the pvp fights right away! You get FREE Normal and VIP and BLUEPRINT Lootboxes (lootboxes are a chance at random items and dinos that you get by opening ingame) The people on the server are good group so far and we would love you to join our community! They never used the cloning chamber before because it was too expensive, so all we have to go off of are 3 year old wiki links. Our question is this : If we clone an imprinted dino, does the clone have the imprinted stats as "base" stats now? And from there, can we breed the new clone, imprint the baby and start all over again, effectively creating our own mutations? Is that clear enough or is this just a stupid question?
