| Posted: 10 Jul 2019 02:47 AM PDT Leedsichthys was added to the game to indirectly nerf rafts on PvP official servers right? Then why the HELL are they on every single PvE server? My friend rents a 10-slot private PvE server that we all play on. I just spent the last week or so collecting materials for a motorboat, building a motorboat house/base, and I'd love to actually take it out of the lagoon it was built in and try to use it as a fun mobile home. However, it will immediately get stomped by a Leed. I really just don't understand why Wildcard would add something to the game that has such a severe effect, but meant for a specific PvP context, and NOT make it immediately toggle-able in the server settings. It'd be the same principle if Wildcard removed any other component of the game (let's say caves) with the justification being "caves don't fit into PvP balancing". Well that issue only applies to PvP, so then PvE players (in theory) just don't get to enjoy caves ? Or in this case, raft bases? You could argue the universal flyer nerf is the same concept. PvE keeps getting ripped off because PvP balancing changes are carried over to PvE. Wouldn't be a problem if they just made large influential changes tied to a optional server setting, or just made the PvP balance updates only apply to PvP. Rant over, sorry for whining. | Hey, I need ur help on finding the insiders Posted: 10 Jul 2019 10:05 AM PDT Hey, I play on boosted server on ragnarok I've been playing every day for almost 2 weeks each time I log off I get raided so I built a underwater tek base added another tribe member spent the next 36 hours breeding velonsaours and snow owls for mutations I log off after a long day I get on 8 hours later to find my generator turned off and took all dinos 58 plus 30 eggs when he joined he said he has a base in which u have to go through a water entrance to access it [link] [comments]  | ||
