I was trying to tame up a couple manas last night. To do so I was using a snow owl and doing the dino gate trick where you trap them, then knock them. After I would trap them in the gates I would try to shoot them and my tranqs would go right through them like they weren't a solid object or something. And when I would get anywhere close to them this weird blue knock back thing would happen that would damage and knock me back. Anyone experienced anything like this?

Help starting out

Ok, so me and my friends have restarted several times on ragnarok. But we always get eaided over night. We have tried several locations and even a raft base, but we also get wiped. Any advice in base locations or strategies? Honestly I will take anything at this point
