    Liopleurodon should be a permanent tame.

    It really is an interesting tame: it has a cool, unique model and it's fun to have a mid sized aquatic carnivore to tame. Right now they are completely useless outside of the tiny niche of farming drops. Why make such a nice model and creature only to have it rarely ever used in game? It would take minimal effort to put it as a permanent tame, essentially adding a new dinosaur for people to enjoy.

    It would've fit rather nicely if you ask me between the the basilosaurus and the mosasaurus. It can have higher damage and the ability to dive in the deep waters without worrying of crush depth, but also have the trait of not being able to be be grabbed by squids and whatnot due to it's oily skin.

    You put a bunch of effort into giving us deinonychus. Why not give us one more creature when it takes a tiny bit of coding? I'm sure all players will enjoy a new sea monster species.

    For any server admins using the (very) dated turzam/ark docker image, I went ahead and forked it, upgraded the base image from ubuntu 14.04 to 18.04, and have it running on the latest (v1.6.47) version of ark-server-tools (a.k.a. arkmanager).

    Easy organic polymer on Valguero

    Just an informative post for those of you looking for organic polymer on Valguero. There's a beach in front of the white cliffs - it starts at around 69:55 and goes to 72:79 and curves further around. There are a few dead dolphins lying on the water's edge along the beach and these give you a decent amount of 'ye olde penguin guts'. It's generally a safe beach, in terms of predators.

    Mantis egg kibble.

    While looking at the kibble charts, I noticed a glaring issue for scorched earth. A rock golem requires extraordinary kibble which can only be made with rock drake, wyvern, hesperonis, and yutyrannus eggs; only one of which spawns on scorched earth. The mantis however still remains only tamable with death worm horns but it's egg is only superior kibble. I think the effort required to tame the mantis, should make the mantis egg an extraordinary kibble egg to open your options up in SE.

    I've been playing for about 2 weeks now. Didn't think much about honey since there was a beehive next to my base.
    But now it despawned and I've been looking for beehives for 3 days and I can't find any.

    Any tips on spawns or where I could find them?

    Height Limit on Mosa and Plesio (Serversetting)

    Hello Survivors!

    Can i, as an Admin, change the Height limit at which Mosa's and Plesio's turn back, and dive down?

    I want some of these to swim around in the Lake in Valguero :D

    When spawning them, they just stand still. I guess it's because they are "too far up"

    Is there a Rock Drake stamina Regen bug?

    I feel like an idiot. If there was a bug involved, I'd still feel like an idiot, but a slightly smaller one.

    Tamed and raised my first Rock Drake. Max level! Good stats! Decent colors! Leveled it up a good deal and got used to handling it; the controls can be pretty obtuse. Once I was comfortable and had run around the green and blue areas, I decided to use it for surface loot crate farming.

    It was awesome. Camo-zipping from hill to hill, dive-bombing the loot, killing maybe a reaper and seeker or two when they showed up. No big problems other than reapers still hurting a bit with the engram saddle, but hopefully I could find one of those soon, too.

    As fast as it was going, I figured I only needed a few in-game minutes to get back to the entrance cave of the southwest surface area, but I decided to start back at 2:30am or so just to leave plenty of time. Sunrise at 5:51am. Jump up, start my triumphant glide back--then, unexpectedly, red "out of stamina" messages and an ungraceful thump back to the ground. Huh, that's weird, but OK, I'll just sit for a sec. Toggle climb and camo on and off, check the buff icons aren't there, and wait. 0 stamina, 1 stamina, 3 stamina... sitting for all of 30 seconds got me to 50/1300. Jump up, glide back into the ground--stamina all gone, still regenerating by 1-3 per second.

    Well, crap, that's not good, but I've still got two and a half hours left until sunrise and I'm not THAT far, so time to limp back. Then the reapers pop out. No big deal, can kill a few; but it's eating into precious time and now health, too. Slog after slog, finally reach the last little cliff up and the last ten feet to safety -- with zero stamina and 1000 health -- at 5:45am. Limp, limp, almost there, even the ladder I built down is fully rendered...

    ... Then the flames. Tick. 600 health. Tick. 100 health. Almost, almost... Tick. Boom. Thrown off the now-dead shiny drake, two unmounted steps and I stop burning. Literally one more second on the drake and I would have been fine. I was even able to loot the body (and the saddle from the body bag after having to punch the poor corpse apart) without getting exposure—it was that close.

    RIP little/big buddy, I let you down.

    But what the hell with the stamina regeneration? Nothing I did made it start up again normally. I was definitely not climbing, definitely not camouflaged, and definitely very well fed (I'd been force-feeding stacks of meat). Has anyone else run into this before and, if so, how did you fix it or avoid it? I'm sure it's going to be a long time before I find a max level egg again, especially now that I'm back to crabbing it, but I want to avoid these ignominious deaths in the future. The drake, while normally amazing, is a bit of a paperweight without any stamina.

    Renting a server at the moment and have a few questions

    Is there a way that events like double xp weekends and this upcoming summer bash can be activated automatically? or do i have to tweek the settings everytime time?

    I want the 2x enabled on weekends, and obviously the summer dinos on my ark, i know i have to download it then destroyallwilddinos if it does work.

    How does it work if i chose a rag server but want to go over to abb and the other maps to bring stuff back? does my base and my dinos disapear? is this even possible to go to another map, play a while and come back? (for stuff like drakes, karkinos ect)

    Is Abberation really the only way to unlock level 135?

    I'm not a huge fan of Abberation personally. It's a great LOOKING map, it's just not exactly my style. I'm more into breeding rexes.

    Is Abberation really the only way to unlock level 135 though?

    I was really looking forward to unlocking level 135, but I'd hate to have to play Abberation to do it.

    I have these two guys I hatched from eggs. Is it possible to find out what the exact stat levelups were/are? I have a couple 140 eggs that I'd prefer not hatching if they're good (+30 hp/dmg/stam)

    Are there more changes coming to Valguero?

    I really like the map, but it's also really lacking in some areas, such as lifeless (and flyable) caves and redwood seeming a bit... boring or rushed? There's a lack of resources and a large part of it seems pretty bare-bones/basic outside of a standard array of dino spawns.
    I haven't had the chance to explore underwater yet but I've noticed that there's a lot of potential for cool, hidden base spots that they just haven't made use of.
    Are they still planning changes? I heard they said it was 99.9% done but I really hope there's some improvements on the horizon for the map to reach its full potential.

    Any good base location in Valguero Snow biome?

    Playing by myself and attempting to find a good location to build a base in the snow biome near water. However I really haven't found any good places yet, or wyverns decide to destroy my base as I was too close. Just looking for recommendations.
