Transferring between Official Servers Posted: 18 Aug 2019 10:55 AM PDT I just have some questions about transferring a character between servers. I know I can't transfer between PVP and PVE or unofficial and official, but are there any other restrictions? Can offline raid protection server survivors transfer to servers without protection and vice versa or no? I want to join a server that is easy to transfer from once I level up. Valguero save file not created. Posted: 18 Aug 2019 05:09 AM PDT So I run a dedicated server on my PC for myself and some friends to play on Xbox. Have done so successfully for 4 maps previously, however for the last week I've been running Valguero, decided yesterday to change some settings, restarted the server and everything was gone, all buildings, all Dino's, everything. After going through the file paths I noticed that on the Valguero file path for saved maps the wasn't a Valguero.ark file, I have the profile.ark files and so on but not the map save. Anybody else experienced this? I'm currently reinstalling ark to see if that solves the problem, clearly I'll never be able to restore what we had but we've come to terms with that. Also does anybody have a batch file that automatically backs up the save files? Abberation Dino Posted: 18 Aug 2019 04:57 AM PDT Tribe found a good lightly boosted cluster and you get two free breeding pairs when you join, so all 8/9 people in the tribe will get breeding pairs so 16/18 Dino's. So far we have snow owls, theris, meglos, argies, crabs and pteras. What are some other Dino's that are vital for abberation? Friendly reminder that you can carry 13 things all at once Posted: 17 Aug 2019 04:00 PM PDT First, this is ignoring things standing on a platform saddle, but it does could players, including players riding any creature that is holding and/or being held. A quetzal can have one rider and hold a crab in it's feet. The crab can have a rider and two gigantopithicuses in it's claws. Each gigantopithicus can have both a shoulder mount and a player riding it. Each player can then have a shoulder mount of their own and be carrying a small Dino like a dodo or dung beetle. Need help Posted: 18 Aug 2019 12:07 AM PDT I'm part of a private server and something happened an idiot in my tribe took a wyvern that he wasnt supposed to and it got left it out to get killed by a low level rex. the real problem is the wyvern belonged to a special needs clanmate who is emotionally attached to his dinos and has spent hours with that wyvern and now hes in a slump he wont leave the camp anymore and when he does he only goes far enough to get some meat. I want to help him I even got the admin to spawn in a wyvern that was exactly the same but he got more upset anyone have any ideas? submitted by /u/darkthesis [link] [comments]
