    Warning to my fellow Ark players looking for a server, Avoid Dark Arks!

    I would like to warn all my fellow Ark players out there to avoid Dark Arks servers. The admins are extremely petty and controlling. It is like you have to join their weird cult in order to enjoy the servers. I have compiled a report for everyone to check out how they manipulate the various forums on reddit to make their server seem more popular than it is, to give artificial support to their opinions, and downplay complaints.

    I love this game and not only wasted time on their server cluster, but also was treated horribly. I noticed others being bullied as well. There are many great servers on these forums to choose from. Do not expose yourself to this drama.

    She uses another account (u/brixon) to agree with her on this image. Then gets immediately defensive when u/kozm0z asks about the image making sure to reiterate that it is not altered, why do I feel like it has been altered now…

    Another player dealing with issues. Once you get past all of the fake accounts saying the admins are the best!

    u/ArkFrore advertises for the server, but then deletes herself from them. Removeddit shows this.

    Interactions with others on reddit, clearly changed her wording when editing, probably to change how embarrassing her answers where. here and here. Notice also the -7. The two play as admins so I doubt they understand difficulty in game and spawn in all the cool dinos/builds that u/ArkFrore shows off. Many posts have comments about breeding and building, just know that they both spawn in so much crazy stuff and literally admin the server. I know many do for builds on youtube and the such, which is totally fine, but passing it off as if you are a regular player and getting lucky/working hard for these things is insincere.

    I am posting this in the hopes that no one else invests their time into a server just to lose it all due to pettiness and to be treated poorly. Good luck out there survivors!

    Dads on Ark is a cluster of servers run by a few Mom's and Dads just having some fun. We welcome anyone to our server to join in the fun with us. The server is boosted to make playing easier for people that can only play an hour or 2 a day.

    Maps are: The Island 20 slots Ragnarok 10 slots Rotation Map 10 slots (EXTINCTION VALGUERO, ABBERATION) Map changes so you can tame dinos, do bosses etc) changes based upon request in discord community. Mostly stays on extinction.

    XP: x3 Harvesting: x5 Taming: x5 Baby hatch: x50 Baby Mature Speed : 50 Food/Drink drain: 0.75 Unlimited Respec: On Anyone Can Cuddle: On Cave Flyers: On Corpse Locator: On Max Dino Level: 150. 180 for Tek and 190 for Wyverns Spoil timer: x3

    Server runs Stack Mod Times 10 and custom for items like Milk and Prime.

    Dinos and players gain small boost in weight.

    PUBLIC INDUSTRIAL CRAFTING BASES: Red Ob The Island Blue Ob Ragnarok PUBLIC TELEPORTERS near each OB for faster travel. TOWN HALL BUILDING on the Island with Safe enclosed dino parking for Community Events like , BOSS RUNS, DINO RACING, STORAGE WARS (public auction players bid with ingots for Vaults and cryo fridges full of supplies and dino's from admins cleaning up old bases) Admin offer Element and Tribute item moving from map to map.

    Rules are simple.

    Create a Tribe and Character name when you join ( HUMAN) Not Accepted. Only Trolls use the name Human. No building in loot caves No pillar spam No stealing other tribes eggs and gear For more visit our Discord for voting, information and ideas

    There is currently a bug in the game on PS4 at least when you put a dino in a cryopod or egg and upload it and tranfer them from a non dedicated session to another it resets thier level to 1 I want to know if this happens on all servers including singleplayer not just non dedicated sessions

    I usually just play co op with a buddy, but I have been considering getting a private server. If enough people would use it, then sure, I would do one. But what is it people seek in a PvE or PvP server? Seems like PvE would be more simple for others to enjoy, griefers are annoying. I would be happy to open a server if enough people would use the server of course. But I worry that if I opened up a server that not many would make use of it.

    I transferred from my nondedicated server to my friends and took a 216 bary egg and a 180 baby basilo in a cryopod but when i brought them back to my server the basilo came out of the cryopod fully grown as level 1 and the bary hatched as a level 1 as well does anyone know why this happened?, if this will happen again?, will it happen with fully grown dinos? does it always happen with dinos in cryopods? and is there any way around it?
