| Host/local play adjustments with beginner questions Posted: 19 Jan 2020 07:40 AM PST I don't play online yet just because of time and things. But I have a few questions about local play. Like if I change the settings to where night time is shorter what affects on the game play will this have? Like when I start taking a Dino at night will it tame faster? Or is it just a lighting thing? Also new to mating. What happens if I just leave them on and I end up with a bunch of eggs? Does that throw off the Dino count in the game? [link] [comments]  |

| Co-op carrying capacity exploit Posted: 18 Jan 2020 05:06 PM PST Not sure if this is known or even allowed, if not feel free to remove this but, my son and I found a carrying capacity exploit when we were farming for metal/obsidian. We play split screen and at first the limited range was a bother and we quickly realized that if the "Host Player" gets too far away, the second player is teleported near the Host. Well if the second player is seriously over encumbered to the point of no movement, they can still be "drug" along by the host. So now we use flyers to carry anky's to the mine, fill the inventory slots on the anky, the flyer (usually a wyvern) and the second player and enough on the host Player and their creatures to still move then fly home. This could easily be done by a solo player with a second controller as they could just have the mule hover on the flyer while you harvest. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 18 Jan 2020 02:18 PM PST i'm trying to build a medium sized elevator in ark valguero but when i stand on it the triangle only does lock or unlock, and when i get off i can start the elevator, but as soon as i get on it stops working. does anyone have a solution for this?
