Now I can understand that if they had the better players etc but from bullshit like this. What is the fucking point at all of building up if you know how to cheat the best. Megalosaurus, grab, Rockwell: still a thing? Posted: 03 May 2020 01:20 AM PDT There's a whole lot of discussion from about two years ago talking about how unridden megalos happily spamming their fixed-damage grab attack effectively ruins their otherwise perfect viability as an Aberration boss killer. Not seeing anything recent, I thought that maybe it was fixed. But doing leveling runs with megalo packs, I'm seeing that they do still love their grab attacks — against spinos, crabs, and everything else they can't pick up. They'll throw in normal bite every now and then, but overall it's like they're trying to give parasaurs a chance to keep up in DPS contests. So is it still the case that there's no way to make ordered megalos useful in Aberration? Sure, they do OK as meat shields, but it feels like you may as well just do a stego if that's the route you're going. submitted by /u/Nyrin [link] [comments]

So i’ve been playing for a long time, and i need help with starting on some of the larger official servers Posted: 02 May 2020 04:27 PM PDT TDLR: i've been playing for a long amount of time and have quite a bit of experience in the game, does anyone have any tips for me? I have quite a bit of experience on "pvp" servers (i have no experience in pvp, as i'm usually raided offline and can't do anything about it afterwards), and i try to get on an official server and no matter what it seems like i will always lose my progress after one day. I level up through explorer notes on The Island, maybe tame up a few dinos that'll help me start or get me to a good base location, i spend hours working on a stone base, i gather materials for around the same time, i build good defenses and tame up some defense dinos that are good levels (70+ only) and i log off, yet no matter how large or how small the server is, no matter how remote or obvious my base location is, the next day i'm almost always raided. So does anyone have any tips for me to improve or just avoid raiding? what dinos should i specifically get as fast as possible? submitted by /u/AnElectricBoogaloo [link] [comments]

Extinction freezing up Posted: 02 May 2020 10:20 AM PDT I took a break from this game for about a year and before when I played single player on extinction it was fine. I'm not sure what the issue is now but ever time I move from one area to another or sometimes when I'm doing nothing at all my game will entirely freeze up for 10-15 seconds. Genesis Elevator Posted: 02 May 2020 08:37 AM PDT So I've recently placed 2 small elevators on my metal ocean platform..actually 4 platforms closely placed. At random times the elevators' tracks shows the weight and ability to work the platform from below or above "remotely" Other times it doesn't and holding "Y" for options only give demolish as an option.
