| Easy to understand help for everyone who wants to get into ARK breeding Posted: 01 Jul 2020 07:18 PM PDT Hey guys and girls o/ I am a breeder of over 6000 hours on official, unofficial, PvE, and PvP and while I enjoy breeding and helping out tribemates and allies with good animals, I see that a lot of people struggle with breeding or to understand how it works at all. Also, many breeding guides are pretty long and complicated filled with conspiracy and hear-say. I made a TLDR Breeding Guide for all beginners or people who want to renew their knowledge about breeding, just getting the facts together to help you get on the right path. | This game is dog***t !!!!!!!!! Posted: 02 Jul 2020 09:30 AM PDT I know I am frustrated at this very moment but... here is the story... So, firstly, we played official PvP on server 897, we had a tribe of 15 people with about 5 people playing non stop over the day. We started really good. Made industrial forge, tamed about 50+ dinos, from rex to diplo to 3 sabertooths etc, many species, around 10 argentavis. We had around 100k resources, 10k iron, a lot of cementing paste, we were literally started to prepare for anything. Fabricator started running. We made a base on a edge of a cliff, surrounded by spikes, and we put about 30 offensive dinos inside. others were outside base + we had tree platform above the cliff base to cover ground. Today, in the morning, I couldent update Ark due to the glitch with epic games and I had to reinstall and download game from scratch. I join in... AND I SEE TRIBE LOG ALL IN RED, IT SAYS " YOUR THIS AND THAT BUILDING GOT DESTROYED BY LEVEL 7 TITANOSAURUS". ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT OUR 10 DAYS WORK, ALL THOSE TAMES, 10 ARGENTAVIS, 20 SPACE X TOWERS ARE USELESS ? LEVEL 7 FUCKING DINOSAUR, SOLO TOOK OUR ENTIRE BASE, 50+ TAMES ? HOW IS THIS SHIT EVEN LEGAL, IT IS PvP I KNOW, BUT HOW IS THIS ALLOWED ON OFFICIAL SERVER ??? ALSO THIS IS FUCKING NEW SERVER, DAY 400 !!! AND PEOPLE ARE ONE SHOTTIN US... Makes me want to stop playing this shit... I thought being in a tribe matters, I thought there is a chance to do something with 15 people... but holy shit it looks like it isnt possible... there comes a guy with one dino and you can suck yourself. Just wanna say that I've done my part in searching ways but finding no luck regarding this matter. Got Ark free from Epic and quite liked it so I'm already level 79 in an official pve server. I don't want to lose my progress because I would like to transfer to Steam which I bought with the DLC bundle because of the sale. I just don't want switching platforms for different games. | What is the Megaphone icon at the top right of my screen sometimes? Posted: 02 Jul 2020 09:00 AM PDT So my Push to Talk button is Left Alt. I don't even Alt Tab, so I know I'm not accidentally hitting that. I just bring up my inventory and mouse over to my other screen, or I use the windows key(habit from Diablo 2.) But when I use my mic, I see a microphone icon in the top right. That's normal... Sometimes, however, I see what looks like a Megaphone icon, and I have no idea how I activated that or what it means or does. Could someone explain please? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Taming effectiveness level nerf? Posted: 02 Jul 2020 01:43 AM PDT Was Taming effectiveness levels nerfed on official servers? Ever since the Summer Bash update, using high quality food like Kibble and Prime Meat aren't giving the returns they used to (as per dododex). +60/50 level bonus food are giving smaller bonuses in the +40/30 range. It's happened for multiple tames now. Has anyone else noticed this? [link] [comments]  | ||
