I keep getting a "game no longer exists." message. My friends nat type is moderate and mine is open. We are both running version 800.16. Does anyone have any ideas?

I currently play ark with my younger brother as a way to stay connected to my family during Covid. He's a little behind me, and I would like for him to be able to play without me and to be able to go off on his own without being pulled every time he gets just a little farther away from me. Is there any way to do that?

Idk if I'm just super unlucky or if this is a glitch. I've been clearing the trench for days on singleplayer and haven't found anything higher than 148 since the genesis update (I reset my aberration world) if anyone could help that'd be great!
