New prim plus brick structure spawn codes? Posted: 29 Sep 2020 12:19 AM PDT Hey I run a prim plus rp server and was wondering if anyone knows the knew brick structure spawn codes? Apparently the brick structures used to be red, they updated them to gray. Since then they haven't updated the codes and the current codes spawn in the red structures still which are unplaceable. Long shot, but: anyone know why Nitrado is special? Posted: 28 Sep 2020 05:39 PM PDT Nitrado seems to have a unicorn version of the ARK server software that lets them host an Xbox/UWP-compatible game and have access to a much fuller and richer set of customization options, including events, spawn editing, remote admin, and the like. Near as I can tell, it's as if somebody at Wildcard baked them a custom version of the non-UWP PC client--something that would never pass store cert--as an under-the-table sort of deal. But that leaves the question of how it'd stay updated, as maintaining a separate version/build just for that purpose seems nuts. Meanwhile, Nitrado's interaction with Xbox policy completely disallows any access to the save data for the server, meaning that unlike on non-Xbox-compatible hosts, you can't export/import save data and do anything with it, whether it's archiving it or using tools like ArkBot with it. Has anyone ever come across any information about what Nitrado is getting and whether any of that will ever migrate into the UWP server version that normal players have access to? I'd seriously even pay a lot of extra money at this point to be able to host my own Nitrado-style server; it's just a non-starter for me to lose access to the save data since I'm running my own companion tools on it. Posted: 28 Sep 2020 04:25 PM PDT My brother and I r doing a Dedicated Session on my computer using the Microsoft version of Ark, so I can play on my Xbox. How do I get Admin commands incase something weird happens (me losing a lvl 220 Blood Crystal Wyvern Heir egg to a random glitch and not knowing where tf my body is)? [link] [comments] | ||

Ark structure ‘lag’ - Advice needed! Posted: 28 Sep 2020 05:21 AM PDT Lately we have built a new base on Extinction Xbox PVE around the city area of the map by green obelisk. The building we had before was actually bigger than this one and out of stone, so we have downsized and built out of metal, with tek foundations and gates. However we seem to now be getting this kind of structure 'lag' when they are in view and in render, the structures causing this we believe are our 30 tek dedicated storage boxes, this is rather annoying given how important they are! However the lag is terrible and we need to get rid of it, we've tried making the base even smaller and reducing the amount of dedicated boxes but we are unsure if it's maybe something else, it happens on both of our consoles but only on this server in this base, other players on the server also suffer this when coming to our base - Does anyone have any ideas about this or had something like this happen? Much appreciated. [link] [comments] |
