    Hi guys - I'm looking for a tribe. I have a level 60 character and haven't played the game in over a year or so. Used to play almost 10hrs/day but can't commit to that much time anymore. Looking for a tribe I can contribute to and play casually. PvP preferred.

    Building on uneven ground is a nightmare. Is there a best way to build a base on uneven ground, e.g. around the bottom of a mountain? Sorry to bring Conan Exiles into this, but there you can at least build multiple foundations on top of each other and the snapping works to make it very easy to build on uneven ground. Any idea why they haven't implemented that here as far as I can tell?

    Textures flickering from high to low constantly?

    Hey all, I'm experiencing something bizarre and haven't found any kind of fix for it yet. I just redownloaded the game after a few months hiatus, and am in singleplayer. After loading into the game, groups of textures will start flickering. Sometimes it'll be a small patch of grass, or the walls, or a rock. It'll rapidly switch between high and low res for about 20 seconds, and then eventually settle on one or the other. Then something else will start flickering, and then eventually pick one or the other. And then it continues on forever! It can sometimes be something close, or extremely far.

    My laptop specs are above the recommended for this game, and it has run fine on this rig for a few years now. I know it is not a memory/RAM issue because I have been monitoring those, and it is not a bottlenecking issue either. So far I have tried verifying the files on Steam, reinstalling the whole thing, messing with options in game, using the useallavailablecores, lowmemory, nomansky, and sm4 launch options, fiddling with the Nvidia 3d options panel, doing a clean install of graphics drivers, and unsubbing from mods.

    This issue is not occurring in any other games I'm playing, so I know it's an Ark issue and not my laptop. It also did not happen when I tried starting a new SP on The Island. It seems to be an Extinction only issue! Anyone have any ideas on a fix?

    Could Genesis 2 bring some pets/tools that are more useful to pve?

    • Like a dino you could catch that would pick up poops and put them in dung beetles' inventory.
    • Or a tool that would pull spoiled meat and narc berries out of troughs and put them in the chemistry bench.
    • Or maybe just bring in the finest mods from unofficial and make them official. Like CKFR architecture. Pleeeeeeze bring CKFR to official. It's soooo good.
    • Fix Pegomastax so he goes out and searches for Z seeds, nothing else, and comes back to you with them. Have him fill up to about 20 seeds before returning but no more so he does not get weighted. He could also search for honey as well but make sure he is looking for Z seeds as a priority.
    • Fix speed on all flying shoulder pets so they can keep up with the fast flying mounts on official. So you could have multiple flying pets on follow.
