Soloing Unofficial Bosses?

Hey folks, looking for some advice. I'll point out I have the dlc but never used it yet as I want to do each map in order. Not looking to jump over to get a deino for bosses for example

I have a small private server on the island for myself and some friends. We're kind of doing our own thing at the moment, and I'm starting to look towards bossing on my own to get a feel for it before I coach others through as I'm well ahead of them in progress.

I have it set to the standard 1 Difficulty/5 Override for 150 wilds. Imprint bonus at 4.

For backstory, originally I thought the imprint bonus was kind of broken, as my bred argy with no mutations absolutely shreds everything. I got a basic bred basilo from two 150 wilds just for the imprint bonus. Cleared the western water cave no problems. Now with 80k health I thought the east cave might be a bit difficult but I got swarmed by a ton of dinos plus an alpha shark and lost the basil before I could escape, within a minute tops. The cave is still quite difficulty but manageable now that I've been humbled.

After that experience, I ran swamp cave with a tamed therium no issues, but have yet to try snow cave. My question/request for advice is what kind of stats should I be going in on with Rexs for the bosses on alpha difficulty with my server difficulty setting? I don't have the single player settings turned on, nor do I wish to as with my setting the game feels almost too easy as it is, and I enjoy the challenge.

I just don't want to spend forever looking for good stat rexs and breeding them, leveling, saddle grind, etc just to get instantly wiped, but I also don't want to go in with 19 Rex and a Yuti only to feel like I'm playing a tutorial. I've never done bossing, I know to bring theri for dragon, just looking for advice from folks who have done what I plan to try.

I’ve been kicked playing solo tribe (PvE)

Only recently been playing PvE and though it fun to have simple life of base building and taming. I travel to another server and then back to my main server on island. Then log off to return in about an hour. When I log back in I see screen to spawn with none of my beds. Ok then I see I'm not in tribe! Visiting my base location I see my tribe with my ownership but I'm not in the tribe!

What can I do about this? Any tips to prevent this from happening again?

Tips for extinction

My friends and I have started up an extinction world. Two of us are new(ish) players and the other isn't new, but hasn't played the DLC yet since they stopped playing before it came out. We've got three pretty high level enforcers, but have gone through four enforcers (they died). Any tips? Anything we should avoid until we're high enough level? Just leave down what you think would work for us.

I'm solo on official and raided some guys and took their compartments so I made an underwater base but I logged off and when I came back in I was dead but I wasn't raided and my tribe log just said "You died" so I want to know how to prevent this if I can

Spyglass malfunction?

The server I played on got reset and now the spyglass no longer shows the names/gender/level of any dino regardless of distance. It shows durability of walls and other objects, just 0 info on any dino.

Does anyone have any similar experiences with this and/or have a fix I can try?

I did check my settings and floating names is enabled for my specific account and I have tried logging off and back on.

Tips for beginners (PvE)

Hello, I'm a decently experienced PvE player. These are some tips I use constantly, and they've never led me astray. Feel free to suggest your own in the comments. Maybe I'll edit them into the post if they're good :)

Tip 1: Don't rush into anything, and make sure you're prepared before you jump into a fight. If you die doing something you weren't prepared for, its very hard to get your items back.

Tip 2: Do your research before you tame something so you know if it's worth the resources. If something is useless, don't waste the time and energy gathering resources to tame it.

Tip 3: Don't try and be a hero in a fight with your tribemates. Always have them with you, but if most of them die or you lose your tames, run. Chances are you aren't gonna win that fight, especially if you brought only just what you thought you needed.

Tip 4: Bosses. Always fight bosses armed to the absolute teeth so you hopefully only have to fight them once. If you die in a boss arena, you probably aren't getting those items back, so make sure you and your tribe are armed to the absolute extremes.

Edit 2: One particular comment has said to play the game at your own pace and how you want to, which is very very true. As they posted, the game is about having fun. However, these tips are what I use to help me get there. Try some things differently than what I have here, or put a spin on the tips I've posted. As stated is far from the only way these will work, so if you try these out and they're fun for you to do and make sense, go for it. But if they're boring and make you feel different, by all means, mash it up a little. Save a level up for dire situations so you have one when you need it, go into boss fights with the bare minimum for more of a challenge, whatever helps make the game more fun. These are just tips I use, and they're fun for me.
