    We built one of those eternal prisons where you get stuck in the floating animation above a square of stacked walls. They really do use less food and water than just throwing them in a cage.

    I was curious for anyone who has kept a prisoner long term, do you have any advice for how to keep them alive? We have easy access to food and water. And the weather is very good in our location. We keep spare narcotics etc on hand. But is there anything else we should know?

    We don't want to keep people forever. But if they threaten us they need to know we can take their character away.

    In need of other build artists to populate Viking Bay (or whatever you choose) with amazing builds.

    My family and friends haven't played in a while, so I'm launching another instance to the public. Here are the features:

    • Impossible decay times. (Even thatch doesn't time out)
    • Impossible structure damage. (A Titan won't be able to destroy even thatch).
    • Super long tamed dino decay.
    • Near vanilla rates 2.5x like on special weekends.
    • No mods (Considering a few stable Eco mods)
    • 24 hour real time day length (Synced with Chicago local time, CST).

    I administrate and have written software to automate server tasks (Will release on github in the coming months.). A lot of server power to go along with it, I never get lag locally, even during large saves. For more details see this page.

    How do I progress past the beach and early beach tames?

    Hey guys, fairly new Ark player here. I'm loving the game, and also finding extremely difficult. Playing on an unofficial server with normal rates, I have set up a good base on the beach. I have three raptors and a carbonemys. My pteranodon just died last night when I was scouting for where to go next. So now I have no flying mount, again..

    This has happened a few times now. My mounts have dies, and my base has gotten wrecked a few times as well by alpha raptors and a big angry therizinosaur. I can't seem to get past this point. I'm level 70 and have played for many hours. But the island is so dangerous. As soon as I venture a little too far, shit goes sideways and I have lose a bunch of stuff.

    I want to build a new base in a better location, more suited for someone who has been playing for as long as I have.. but how? How do I move my mounts? They'll never survive the journey. Everything is trying to kill me. And how do I get set up with this new base? Any tips or comments would be much appreciated

    Hey guys,
    we have just created the new Ark server: https://ark-servers.net/server/178699/
    - a few mods (like oldschool flyers and stacks)
    - no cluster, only 1 server Ragnarok
    - dinos max lvl 150
    - 3xH/T/XP/5xB
    - PVP style, small tribes

    Maybe we will do some changes in the future, but only little bit and without wipes. We don´t want to do wipe for months. We only want play old ARK with PVP without silly mods and some OP content. Then we must set up our server, because we didn´t find any like this.

    Come to visit us and enjoy some new adventures. :-)
