    Extinction Shoulder Mount

    For whatever reason Wildcard has chosen you to create a concept for a shoulder mount for Extinction. Their only requirement is it be TEK (meaning it must be crafted.) what is the pet and what is its function?

    Personally, I'd like a small, fox-like creature that has two functions: the first is it warns you of meteor showers. Duh. Second is it acts like a shoulder parasaur + tek helmet. As long as it is powered it will show nearby enemies and allies with the TEK overlay.

    I feel this has great use not just on Extinction but on other maps as well. What are your concepts?

    How Much Oil Do You Need?

    I've been playing for a while now, always solo, but even when I go for two dozen turrets I never need much oil, like maybe 100 per week, but I see tribes getting all upset over one of their oil rigs with thousands of oil getting a bit taken out, and they've got tons of these rigs. What are people doing that requires so much oil?

    PVP meta?

    Hey folks, transplant ATLAS player here. Me and some pals joined up a PVP unofficial server that's fairly populated and we want to get to some pvp-ing. Any decent meta's we should know about? Wear armor in to battle, or go naked? Use soak dinos for turrets or try and range them with weapons? Questions like that are things we have no idea about...but we'll probably be facing metal bases with turret defenses out in the open...C4 still how you break the metal down? I've read a few things but it's been over the course of forum posts that extend back 2 years.

    Anyway, just looking to have some fun and don't want to go in with full flak and pistols if the meta is rexes and rockets or something ha...any help appreciated...thx! (we're on Val map btw)

    Anyway to Undo Mod Update?

    Basically the S+ mod just updated and the person hosting my server just left for a 2 week vacation and his house is hours away (the server host is my brother in law).

    Is there a way for me to backdate the mod so I can logon to the server? I don't want dinos to starve while they are gone...and to be honest I have some time off and really wanted to play.

    Any help would be super appreciated!

    Help needed - Built a pen for Dino's, now it wont let me build?

    Hi bit of a confusing one.. I play official most the time but play on my single player to unwind sometimes and get away from the grind..

    I built a huge dino pen with dino doors and went around the whole thing with stone fence foundations and added a wall to each to make sure it all lined up, it did after fiddling a little! So then i went to change my harvest settings to x2 and some other settings for breeding.

    I load back in and now i cant place a wall on top of the stone foundations with 1 row of walls on (need it 4 high), i deleted one area to see what was happening and it just keeps saying:

    What gives? it worked perfectly untill i "bleeped" with the settings.. And now i cant build onto my pen :|

    Edit: Everything else is working as i wanted it too.. not too op, not too slow.. dont really want to reset settings, which i used to do!

    I know this has been brought up multiple times but i feel it has not yet got to any devs attention.

    Firstly i would just like to say I've spent over 2k+ hours on an official ORP Server.

    When these servers first came out they were really popular always 70/70 on every map linked to the cluster however due being able to heavily exploit the ORP mechanics they died down very quick. Currency the cluster i play on is around 20/70 week days and 30-40/70 weekends

    So I've listed some things you could look at.

    • First thing is Pin codes. Pin coded Doors/Gates are the most heavily exploited thing on ORP servers. You already removed them from storage (vaults/box etc) to stop exploits this also needs to be done for structures too. Currently tribes can create ORP unraidable Bases they can live in. they can also create godwalls and block off caves they can access with pin codes. this include many ext spots. Aberration surface entrances etc. With Valguero people will block off abberation entrance with ORP gates!
    • You can Build ORP BH Dino gates around Drops on EXT making it impossible for the drop to be destroyed. wave 10000 easy?
    • You need to add a 5 minute ORP timer when you first logging on. As turrets won't shoot while offline People will glitch inside your base and wait for you to log on then c4 everything I've lost Tek rep, Indi forges etc due to this, they bypassing turret towers etc etc.
    • Amending the 15 minute ORP timer when logging out. I feel this should be increased to match the Meta. You do 0.010 damage to bases in 15 minutes. You can drain maybe 1/10 of a turret tower in this time.
    • Personal owned strucutres need to also be removed due to heavy exploits.
    • unlike vaults/boxs etc Tek storage can be accessed by any tribe even when ORP has kicked in. This needs to be made unaccessable also while offline.
    • You should also think about opening up all the ORP Clusters up for x/fer.

    Has anyone had any success adding reaper queen and/or rock drake spawns to the aberrant trench on Valguero?

    I play on console so I know we're never getting the ability to add drake egg nests, but I kinda want rock drake spawns on there anyway because it feels really lifeless right now, the amount of karkinos is absurd and unnatural to the point where it feels like they're overspawning :|

    We also want to add reaper queens to the spawns down in the trench, but I don't think that's even possible on console since from what I've heard, reaper queens are not in the data for any map except aberration on console (not the case on PC)

    But, if it is somehow possible for reaper queens to be added to spawns on valguero on the server i play on, has anyone on PC had success with adding them?

    Best base location in Valguero

    Hi, my friends and i are going to make a private valguero server in PvE and i was just wondering what the best base location would be. Also the following are factors of the possible base location.

    -Great atmosphere/view (doesn't have to be but preferred) -Decent resources nearby (metal, crystal, obsidian, etc) -Not invaded by stuff like rexes but there is stuff like rexes, spinos, argys, etc nearby for taming -Also keep in mind this is pve so i don't need a hidden base or a more pvp centered base.

    As far as I know it just gives a slight damage boost. And the pugs really shouldn't be used for damage... soo..

    Cant play on more than one map at the time singleplayer

    Hello! I brought ark recently and discovered when I play one one map and create the charater and go to the diffrent map either modded or not the new char made for new map overrides my old char, help?

    Stat Point and actual stat

    So on my server I have two rex's one shows that 53 points were put into health while another says 38 points were put into health. Yet the Rex with 38 has almost 30k health while the latter only 15k. Im confused because I thought the more points the higher the stat which would cause the Rex with 53 points to have higher health.

    Single player bug?

    I'm not sure how it happened but my stamina won't drain on my character, I'm not in god mode or infinitestats, even created a new character, anyone had this happen to them? Or know how to fix it?
