Looking for Monti Posted: 14 Jun 2019 12:37 AM PDT We were a group of six close allies spread across four tribes on Legacy Offical. Monti was a solo player, and had thousands of hours before we even met him. He was a bit eccentric, but loyal and extremely active. Even though he mostly kept to himself, we ended up spending a lot of time together over the next couple of years. All of us were in the same tribe at some point during this time, but Monti had some issues staying with us too long. Needed space he said, didn't want to bother anyone. It was obvious there was stuff going on but he never talked about it. Never mentioned family or friends, just that he was trying out some medication for his mental health. Me and him weren't as talkative as the others, but you spend enough time in discord with someone and you really start caring. My boyfriend and I recently got back into the game after a year's break. The others had continued playing in one tribe on the same Australian server we left. They were very built up, had all their breeds going, and Monti seemed more confident. Apparently he'd even had quite a bit of successful PvP. But a few weeks later their tribe got wiped and they lost pretty much everything. The last time I spoke to Monti was a few days ago. We did a small raid together, just the 3 of us. It was a bit messy but it was just for fun. He kept saying he "wasn't worried" about the wipe whenever we brought it up. That he wasn't stressed. Now that I think about it the Monti I know would absolutely be more upset. It was basically his whole life. The next day he lost his raid character to a bug somehow. He complained about it to a tribe member. Shortly after that he simply deleted everyone off steam and discord without explanation. No one knows anything, but obviously we all fear the worst. If you see him, please let me know. He usually goes by the name Montipora Confusa or Meg in game, but keeps his profile set to 123. He plays on PvP Legacy or Official, but was considering trying out Small Tribes. Remember to take care of your online friends. Your tribe messages but I’m in SINGLE PLAYER!! Posted: 14 Jun 2019 08:04 AM PDT I'm on ark mobile and is playing in single player. However today I got 2 very strange messages that is creeping me out. It first said that my tribe killed the turtle (can't spell) in the morning. I saw it and was kinda freaking out but noticed nothing happened and left it. But then it just happened again but it said "your tribe killed a dilophasourus(sry spelling)" this time. Does this happen to anyone else? Secretly snatched up a level 230+ Rex Egg Posted: 14 Jun 2019 06:43 AM PDT So a group of friends and I have a private server we've been playing together and it's been a blast. So much more fun than an official server imo. There's about 6 of us that play regularly and we're all kind of doing our own thing at this point. We've all kind of focused on different things, and a trading system has kind of been established. Now I've never been great when it comes to taming predators. I prefer building a cool base, gathering resources and farming. My focus has been farming tek parasaurs if that tells you anything about how I play the game 😉 A lot of my dinos are hand-me-downs that I traded for when my friends got better tames and no longer needed them. So one of the guys has been breeding high level rexes. He spent a good couple days finding some good breeders and breeding for mutations. So he's been trading eggs to other players, one of which has a base nearby mine. I got on this morning to make sure all of my tames were fed and while out gathering meat I made a stop at the base so my argie could rest, and there it was. A fertilized Rex egg from the rexes he'd traded for. He must have left his rexes on mating since nobody else was logged into the server at the time. So I hopped down and grabbed it. I had to stop myself from texting everyone in the group chat about my find, cause I'm sure there will be some sort of retaliation 😂 And once it hatches they'll know something's up cause there's no way I could have gotten it on my own.
