    Introducing: Parasour Police

    Not too long ago every base on our server was wiped through mesh attacks.

    Today, i present the Parasour Police. Our job is rather simple. We are the hitmen for hire, we will raid and cage any tribe who has meshed or is in the mesh. All you have to do is provide proof of meshing or duping and a tribe name as well as a gamer tag. We are currently on xbox and plan to move to other platforms.

    What you need to know is that we are sick of meshing and wildcards continual negligence of the issue. I invite all of you to do likewise and boycott the upcoming expansion in an effort to force wildcard to take action against these cheaters.

    As a community we can not allow this any more.

    Like, don't get me wrong... Parasaurs seem to be staples of the PvP meta with their detect ability, but I think they really fail to fill the early game role that they really should.

    Look at it from the perspective of a brand new Ark player. Parasaurs are these relatively weak and harmless creatures, but they're fast and elusive. You have to either be a damn good shot with a ranged weapon, or use bolas to immobilize them. You'd think, naturally, they would maintain their strength as a fast mount when you tame them, right?

    Of course not.
    They're unbelievably slow and take dozens of levels to get them at a pace where they can outrun anything at all. If anything ever gets the drop on you, you're done. You almost definitely can't fight it with the Parasaur, and you can't outrun a damn thing with a heavy stat investment.

    It's true that Parasaurs make decent mules at early levels, but I also feel like the Parasaur should be a player's first 'scout' mount for that early stage of the game where you want to explore a little bit and see where resources, other potential tames, and new areas to relocate to are. Unfortunately, the Parasaur doesn't pan out this way however and the only thing it really brings to the table is an easy tame to use for muling resources. If you can keep it alive.

    It just seems like a mount that specializes in evading other creatures is what the Parasaur feels like it should be, and what you would naturally assume you get out of taming it and... that's just not at all what you receive. You get a glorified smoke detector but that's only really useful in mid to late game PvP honestly.
