| Split Screen on PS4 Pro VS PS4 VS PS4 Pro Posted: 02 Mar 2020 12:59 PM PST I've been playing ARK with my gf on splitscreen on my PS4 Pro for about a month. We are loving it. After Genesis broke our game, split screen is nearly unplayable due to shading glitches. I want to buy her a PS4, but she's definitely not a "gamer". I am wondering how much of a difference it will make, with her only being used to split screen (on a Pro) to move up to solo play on her own PS4, basically. It's pretty complicated because the money isn't really an issue, I just know I'm gonna end up at a pawn shop, paying slightly less than normal retail, for something someone else was given like $50 for. Buying brand new feels responsibly "icky", given the very limited use the machine will get. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Can you breed Magasaurs while they are on Smelting mode? Posted: 02 Mar 2020 12:34 PM PST Because I know that when the Magasaur is on smelting mode they do not move. Can you use this to your advantage while breeding and activate this and then put both male and female on wander to make them breed? If so that would make breeding these behemoths so much easier. | Tusos spawning directly in the mesh and dying on Genesis. Posted: 02 Mar 2020 08:38 AM PST We thought for a while that Tusos were just a VERY rare spawn on Genesis. Turns out, they're actually not that uncommon - the rare part is simply finding one that hasn't spawned itself in to the mesh and died. We find their heads stuck in rocks, or their corpses visible in terrain. It's a shame - it would be nice to get these really going on this map with such a beautiful, well designed water biome. | Good source of silk and sand on Genesis? Posted: 02 Mar 2020 11:39 AM PST Haven't even seen silk but I get a little sand out of some of the rocks in the ocean biome. Curious if there's sand anywhere else and if anyone's found a good source of silk yet? Really would like desert cloth for the volcano biome. Also, has anyone found any cactus sap anywhere? Thanks! Trying to travel around the bog is so frustrating between these creeps, the constant insect swarms, and how easy it is to get turned around and lost. If I could at least avoid the need to carry 25 parachutes every time I go out that would help. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 02 Mar 2020 11:03 AM PST Has anyone tamed a high-level astrocetus yet? Roughly how many cannonballs does it take? Has anyone used rockets, and does it take a lot more? I tried using rockets, went through about 20 before the whale teleported away. I'm not sure what level it was because I cant get the spyglass to work on them. I tried taming several with cannons and was never able to knock one out using that method either. Getting a little frustrated. [link] [comments]  | ||
