    I was concerned that Genesis Would have some form of the micro transactions that run rampant in most games today. I found these Quotes from Jesse Rapczak over at Studio Wildcard. And, I wholeheartedly agree that Micro Transaction etc. do feel like a swindle. After playing around 100 Hours in Genesis I feel confident saying is was/is a risk the new mechanic could have been very unpopular. I feel better investing in the Genesis expansion knowing things may be delayed but new content is coming on that 2-year road map. I'd rather supporting a studio willing to take risks and try new mechanics. I'm tired of seeing Rebooted-Remastered-Special-Addition blah blah from fat whale studious. Am I alone? PS: I've not tried crystal islands and am happy to wait for it to be a fully supported DLC. Should I try it prior?

    Annually Ark receives one or two big, free updates and a premium expansion to drive sales around the holidays.
