| Is Aberration completely unplayable for anyone else? Posted: 07 Sep 2020 11:55 PM PDT I redownloaded the game a month ago and have been trying to play through the story Ark's since I've never done that before. The cluster I'm playing on doesn't have Scorched, but that's fine since I've heard it's not that great and I have played on that map several times and didn't like it anyway. So after beating the Overseer on the Island, I was really excited to come over to Abb since I've never given it a true shot before. The map itself is actually pretty cool and I like the idea of it, but when it comes to the actual gameplay, due to how horrible this game is with errors and load times, literally just walking around the map is a task that I'm slowly finding is not worth it. I have blue screened multiple times and I've only been playing on this map for less than 2 days. For context, I blue screened maybe 3 or 4 time on the Island over the course of a month. I'll just be walking around on a Dino and I'll have to wait a minute or so for things like the grass or rocks or little mushroom trees to spawn in. Sometimes I'll literally just be knocked off the edge of something due to a lag spike and what I'll see on my screen is me halfway down a huge fall out of nowhere because I rubberbanded due to a rock not loading in. Does this happen for anyone else or is it just my unfortunate experience? [link] [comments]  |
